Rick Perry: "I Love George Bush"

If Perry doesn't distance himself from GW Bush, whom many consider to be amongst the worst US presidents in American history, why would he even bother to announce his candidacy?

At least give the country a chance to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan before bringing in another Bush clone!

Nice try, guy, but after 2 1/2 years of the "Community Organizer", Bush's presidency has taken on a whole new luster.

Only to the delusional.

That was his response when asked on his thoughts about his predecessor. I think this will harm him. Yep, aside from the fact he got elected on Bush's coattails, owes his career to Bush's election as Governor and then President, says he "loves" George W. Bush and thought he was a great President, has identical policy positions, and has the exact same mannerism, voice, and speaking style as George W. Bush, Perry is his own man.

I only wish George Bush was still the president.

Obama is a nefarious clown - "hope and change" is code for socialism and bankrupting
the middle class.

Equality is his goal and stealing the wealth from American citizens so they fall to the housing project level is equality to him.

If he can't make the poor rich then he will make the rich poor.

Rick Perry is George Bush III.

Except that he's not as smart as George Bush.

Scary thought, eh?

Obama is Bush III. Perry would be Bush IV. Of course, most of the people running would be Bush IV. That’s politics today. More and more hope and change to the same…

so when Palin endorses Perry later this year (that's probably how this is going to play out), are you going to take back all the nasty things you've been saying about that man?

Or are you really just a democrat troll?

The last thing Palin,(who I do like btw), needs is idiots like this out promoting her while dumping on all others.
....As if her background (as a pageant-contestant/college "free-agent") is some big plus.

I think I would prefer Jeb. Although he has the same last name as GW, I do not take him to be a clone of his brother.

Really!! Should we just declare the presidency an inherited right and forgo the fake elections again? Really, another Bush is not needed and I would be happy if they never set foot in the office again in my lifetime weather or not they are similar. Something smells when you have succession like that.
The entire Bush-family (always) reminds me o' that ol'....

I'd take any Bush over Obama right now.

And I would take Bill Clinton over either of them.

.

Clinton would not be doing much better.
Yeah.....that's what the Teabaggers' Daddy tried to say......
"Here’s what conservative politicians said about the 1993 deficit reduction legislation that raised taxes on the top 1.2% of our wealthiest citizens:

"Clearly, this is a job-killer in the short-run. The impact on job creation is going to be devastating." — Rep. (The) Dick Armey, (Republican, Texas)

Couple of things:

1. I don't think real historians are going to be so critical of George Bush. Takes time to assess the success or failure of a president.

....Especially if you can avoid the OBVIOU$!!!

2. I think the Obama camp is genuinely scared of Rick Perry. The man hadn't even formally announced his bid, and already the Obama camp is trying to portray him as guilty by association with George Bush in a Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon type of political strategy. This is a variation of blaming it on Bush by saying, well, Perry is from Texas, Bush is from Texas, so this is going to still be Bush's fault.
Bush's fault????

No.....Perry just sounds like one-more loud-mouthed Texan!!!!

(You quite-obviously have never spent any time, down there.)

"Referred to as George Bush, Jr. by newspapers in those days, sources say he also tended to show up late every day, around noon or one, at Blount's campaign headquarters in Montgomery. They say Bush would prop his cowboy boots on a desk and brag about how much he drank the night before."

From what I hear the Bushes don't love him back.

Good share, thanks.

The conflict is really about class (just like most other conflicts), because Bush is a Connecticut Yankee from a rich and powerful family and Rick Perry was just some guy until Karl Rove made him a Republican and Bush made him Lt. Gov. Perry (and began imitating him, I think).
.....And, he's quite obviously a businessman; just like Georgie!!!!

He's a democrat. It's the game. He's going to make you at a certain point in time bazooka barf over Palin. You won't be able to take it anymore. You will believe she hates all others in the race.

You will believe she's a racist. You will believe she is a victim. lol. this is what they are doing out there.

This is the strategy of the dems. Put people on boards like USAR and you will hate Palin in a heartbeat.
