We almost didn't make it past the first 10 minutes, it was my pick night...and I was very close to stopping it and picking something else. Glad I didn't.
The problem with the first 10 minutes is it is basically like witnessing a teen group chat "online slumber party"..... anyone above the age of 15 will struggle to relate.
In fact... if you rent this, and want to skip this part.... go ahead...you won't miss anything, and it has nothing to do with the movie.
After the first 10 minutes.... it get's much-much better. It is suspenseful, puts you on the edge...and you are not quite aware what is happening exactly... and then you know.
Well acted, well directed. It is a perfect horror flick made in the time of social distancing... only everyone didn't know that doing a séance online was a bad idea... a really bad idea.
