Republicans Signal Cuts To Social Security, Medicare With New House Majority

Notice you never got a response from Lamoron. He has no response. You tell it like it is, and it's ugly. It's more politically expedient to demonize the right for wanting to reign in this failing gov't program. And of course ignore the fact that Joe Biden wanted to do the same thing back in 1995.
That was 30 fucking years ago. Times change

Which program is failing?

Yes, every day that asserts support for both programs.
That sounds like you're saying we shouldn't hold a person responsible for something they said a while back as long as their actions today meet with approval, and they don't have to address what they said? That should make a lot of politicians sleep better at night. No more worry that a statement made in a drunken stupor at a frat party will come back to haunt someone who's voted the right way for a few years. No inconvenient questions, no accusations of hypocrisy, etc.

A while back?

Senator Biden said those things 40+ years ago.

And the frat party crap not germane to the current President Biden statements of unwavering support for the programs.

Basically, what you're doing is giving him cover that he himself is not seeking. Seems a little odd to me. Until he repudiates his statements, they're fair game.

How so?

Don’t his current actions speak for themselves.

That's one vote for not bringing up things a candidate said years ago. Too bad Republicans will still be held to things they said 30 years ago.
