I guess by "the extension" you mean the rules changes that were implement in the name of COVID. I don't know that they will result in MORE dem voters. But it sounds like both Ds and Rs think they will. That's why Ds want to stick with the new rules and Rs want to get rid of them (or come up with their own new rules).

That is one possibility. And I am open to the possibility that dem voters are by nature, lazier and less able to make an appointment, with a narrow window of 12 hours.
