Whether or not the Senate still has the Constitutional requirement to try all cases of Impeachment: Is likely mostly settled. The Article was expedited timely in the House. The term in office had not expired. At the time of the vote of the Impeachment: It was not even clear that there would even be month of February(?). One thing clear about modern, presidential elections. "These people now have the bomb!"
So now the recent procedural vote makes the Senate GOP look supportive of whatever the Jan 6 event is called. "Republican National Convention," may not be the final appellation.
What the Senate means by the content of the Trumped-Up Address is even immaterial on its face. The Trumped-Up felt incited, and are making the claim in courts of law. There will be written transcripts that can be filed. And the incited understand their RINO-faction best. They know Trumped-Up Speak going backwards(?)! Business-owners among them have the same problem at home as they had in the Capitol building. They weren't wanted there, or even expected to be there. Now, at home: People are not buying what they are selling! No one in the neighborhoods expected to see them there.
There is no trial yet, even. In the countryside, minds are now getting made up about the RINO-faction supportive! It now gets easier for the Democrats and Independents going forward. Two Independent Senators are likely to vote with the Democrats. That brings to attention that somewhere between Four to Twenty or more "Other Side" Republicans are likely to vote with the Democrats. Shopkeepers will notice any consequent increase of patrons.
It's almost like choosing and voting(?): In the stores!
