When will trump stand up and 'act' like a man.

• Our nadless president cannot bring himself to say, out loud, that the KKK and Nazis are hate-filled Terrorist Groups.

• He has attacked or insulted many world leaders, including allies, but he seems to totally lack courage when it comes to criticizing his boy-toy, Vladimir, or Russia, in general.

• And, today there is an article implying that the Gutless Orange Wonder is afraid to fire Steve Bannon. who is known to hold strong white supremacist views. It is well known that Bannon has caused friction among trump’s staffers from the beginning. Now the issue is ongoing disagreements between Bannon and General McMasters, the still green Chief of Staff who is supposed to bring order to this chaotic nightmare of a administration

McMasters seems to be a man of integrity and he’s well respected by many people. In fact, he may be the only well respected person in the White House, these days.

• Is the Draft Dodger in Chief just showing his true colors: Bright Yellow. Is he afraid of Bannon, too?
==

From the article:

Bannon has been in a precarious position before but Trump has opted to keep him, in part because his chief strategist played a major role in his election victory and is backed by many of the president’s most loyal rank-and-file supporters.

“The president obviously is very nervous and afraid of firing him,” a source close to the White House told Reuters.

Trump is not the nervous, scared type. If it's true (which it may very well not be) it's because Bannon knows too much.

You can get Trump to say anything if he's scared, he'll contradict himself later though.

You're right about Bannon knowing too much. He's been involved in a lot of stuff.

One day it'll all come out. Bannon won't be able to keep any secrets, imo.

"Trump nervous and afraid"

LOL

Trump is destroying what's left of the democrat party a piece at a time.....Obama helped things along gotta give him some credit
The Democrats didn't need any help destroying their party. They've had years of experience screwing things up. And to speed up the destruction they had 'leaders' like Wasserman-Shitz, and Hillary and Billdo...

As I said on remember this, Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America.

Okay, this is the most "watered down" version of his condemnation, from yesterday at Trump Tower. What is wrong with it, again? Terrorism has a specific definition. The hate groups rallying on Saturday were not taking lives and destroying property in order to influence a government's political decisions. That's terrorism. These hate groups were intimidating to minorities and disgusting to most of the rest of us, but they were not being "terrorists." The nutcase who ran over the pedestrians? Now HE might be considered a terrorist, for sure, but why should Trump label everyone else at that rally a terrorist?
I agree he waffled and he's working hard not to alienate the racists in his base. But he disavowed them and I really believe he meant it. Trump knows he wooed the racists but he is not a big flaming racist himself. Just an ignorant elite old white guy who doesn't rub elbows with minorities so he believes the stereotypes. At least that's what I think.
I certainly don't think people should be screaming that he didn't disavow the neo-Nazis and the racists. He DID.

Trump was forever attacking Obama for not using the words: Islamic Terrorists or for not calling ISIS terrorists, etc.

But now trump gets all yellow and weak-kneed and cannot call the KKK and Nazis terrorists even though both have long histories of terrorist activites IN THIS COUNTRY, and against OUR own citizens. trump followers might never have to deal with these terrorists (for obvious reasons) and that may be why they're so willing to give the cowardly trump a pass on the matter.

But, words matter. Especially when they come from the president. Sadly, this president seems too willing to tolerate, and even, condone, racism and bigotry, and the groups whose entire purpose is to spread and utilize this kind of hate in all of their activities. The president's messages were weak, they changed, they were wishy-washy when they should have been strong and clear. He seems too ready to side with the racists and, over time that's becoming clear to more and more people.

The weakness he showed this past week will play a big part in how his presidency is defined. Like they say: you never get a second chance to make a first impression. My impression of trump is that he is weak, and a coward.
