ISIS launches major assault on Kurdish front in Iraq - CNN.com

Irbil, Iraq (CNN)ISIS fighters launched a major assault Tuesday night on Kurdish positions southwest of Irbil in the Kurdish-controlled region of Iraq, according to Kurdish officials.

A "big attack" is taking place some 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Irbil, the Kurdish capital, one Kurdish source told CNN, citing an assistant to Gen. Sirwan Barzani, commander of the sector.

A good time to bomb their supply routes and work with the kurds in order to attack their weak positions. Worked in wwII.

45 Iraqi's were burned alive 5 miles from our base in broad daylight.
Does that sound like we are in a position to attack?
The Jordanians cannot possibly beat ISIS, to hold ground you have to have troops on that ground. ISIS has complete control of areas just 5 miles from our base.
We are not the one in control here.
Clearly.

Bombing the ISIS supply line would be racist. We cant do that. They're just misunderstood.

This is not WWII.

Note, it took infantrymen to end WWII in Europe.

Massive bombings couldn't defeat NVA either.

This is no place for Americans.

If the Muslim nations won't defend themselves, they deserve another Caliphate.

Which, btw would keep ISIS/ISIL or whatever acronym for Islamic fundamentalist pretty damned busy.

I think the current plan is to hire them all as security.
