Look at the OP below plus one reply to it, and remember the times.
Then, wonder about the magical appearance of the China Virus, and the people who would not allow anyone to blame China for its appearance, and how it turned an election:

Does a booming economy make Trump unbeatable?
Does a booming economy make Trump unbeatable?

Over a decade since the Great Recession, the U.S. economy seems to be on a roll: Wage growth is relatively high, inflation is low, unemployment is really low, and the stock market is booming. Despite President Trump's impeachment — not to mention his erratic, bullying, bigoted behavior — could the economy nonetheless hand him a second term in 2020?

It's definitely a possibility. In fact, a number of observers who run models of elections are already predicting Trump will take home the win
.......

.......
Yale University professor Ray Fair, Oxford Economics Ltd., and Moody's Analytics Inc. are all outfits that run election prediction models, for instance. They don't rely solely on the economy. But factors like GDP growth trends, inflation, and the unemployment rate play big roles in their projections. Bloomberg spoke to all three recently, and they were all predicting re-election for the White House's current occupant. "The election is Trump's to lose," Mark Zandi, the chief economist at Moody's Analytics, bluntly put it. "Trump wins if the economy and his approval rating are about the same a year from now as today, and turnout is typical." Moody's has accurately called every election over the last two decades except for 2016. Oxford got 16 of the last 18 elections right.......

ME:
Not only will the Trump booming economy re-elect Trump, but so will the palpable hate and lies and meanness coming from the Democrats which America is very tired of

POLITICO: How Trump is on track for a 2020 landslide
How Trump is on track for a 2020 landslide

Economic models point to a Trump blowout in 2020. But a faltering economy or giant scandal could change everything......

......if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses. Credit a strong U.S. economy featuring low unemployment, rising wages and low gas prices — along with the historic advantage held by incumbent presidents.

Someone should tell candycorn that simply responding to your thread with a giggly-face smiley doesn't really fulfill Alinsky's Rule #5.

It's nothing more than a sign of intellectual laziness.

True, but I am also glad they did not post something stupid. LOL

Actually, Biden was leading Trump by a substantial margin before Covid hit or he had secured the nomination. If anything, Covid may have helped Trump look "presidential" after three years of Game Show Buffoonery. If Trump had shown even the moderate leadership abilities of Geo. W. Bush, he could have turned a positive into a negative.

The economy wasn't booming all that much when the blob was running for re-election...you may recall massive shutdowns to his botching the covid response.

The result? Biden's historic landslide.
The result was a stolen election.
Be proud, that's EXACTLY how you "won", and now we are suffering in Biden’s economic DESTRUCTION.

Proud of a recession?
Typical coming from a demented avenger subverted demoralized zombie.

Proud to have a President who actually cares and knows what he is doing.

The only ones who are demoralized are the conserve-hate-ives and their ilk. The rail strike was averted by actions taken by the Biden Administration for example. Good news for Americans, bad news for you guys.

What recession????? There is no evidence of a recession, other than a blip on GDP in the last quarter due to a spike in cases.

As life in America continually improves under Joe Biden, and Donald Trump keeps committing crimes, Americans are embracing normal life again, without this crazy old man and his cult of true believers running around the country claiming the election was "stolen".

You are delusional, and Canadian.
Take off, hoser.

Well, I think there is a case there to be made for Don Trump, as poster JoeB hints at above. Hell, I could've argued for Trump with the assertions in the paragraph above that , e.g., low inflation, wage growth, etc. However.....

However, despite that tailwind DonTrump blew it.
I don't mean that as criticism. Rather, I state it as merely echoing what Don Trump's own in-house paid pollster found out ---and informed Trump and his circle --- on why he lost the election (without it being 'stolen' at all).

Tony Fabrizio, Trump's pet pollster, told him exactly why he lost.
Told him that more voters thought he was untrustworthy and incompetent......than the voters who thought otherwise.
That's the plain arithmetic of it: More of this was greater than that.

Another graduate of Trump University's QAnon-School of measured thoughtful civil discourse?

Why do those graduates come here and so frequently validate the rather pejorative cliche's about the qualities and character of the TDS'rs (Trump's Duped & Snookered)?

They make the cliche's seem oh so true.
Why do they do that?

what policy was he winning on?

Post the questions

Ever notice pollsters never want to publish the questions of a poll. That's how I know they are all bullshit.

The virus didn't turn the election. Trump's totally incompetent, stupid, and massively ignorant handling of it did.

Biden was not chosen by Democrats for their candidate as president many times. He has Benedict Donald to thank for his current position as POTUS. When the scheme to have the Ukraine make a phony announcement of an investigation into the guy who road the train to DC for years became known, it propelled him into the forefront of the nominees.

Thank your Dirty Don for that.
