1. Vox: This Isn’t A Deadly Pandemic In a since deleted tweet Vox tweeted, “is [coronavirus] going to be a deadly pandemic? No.” Vox tweeted this on January 31, two days after the White House announced they were creating a coronavirus task force and would expand their travel ban to China.

2. Washington Post: Coronavirus Isn’t So Scary In a “perspective” article, retired Harvard professor David Ropeik wrote for the Washington Post how the cognitive biases in our brain make coronavirus seem scarier then it actually is. The article was published on January 31 and was titled, “How our brains make coronavirus seem scarier than it is.”

3. Washington Post: The Flu Is Worse Than Coronavirus In an article titled “Get a grippe, America. The flu is a much bigger threat than coronavirus, for now,” published February 1, the Washington Post’s Lenny Bernstein wrote that the flu poses a larger threat to the American public, as coronavirus does not appear to be fatal. “Clearly, the flu poses the bigger and more pressing peril; a handful of cases of the new respiratory illness have been reported in the United States, none of them fatal or apparently even life-threatening,” Bernstein wrote.

4. Washington Post: Be Wary Of The Racist Government In another “perspective” article, Wendy Parmet and Michael Sinha wrote that an aggressive government response to coronavirus could be problematic for “marginalized populations.” Essentially, the authors were arguing against an aggressive government response to the pandemic for fear of “racist” policies.

5. New York Times: Fear Spreads Faster Than Coronavirus On February 18, the New York Times published an article that claimed fear was spreading faster than the coronavirus in Europe. After 40 cases were confirmed, the New York Times decided to highlight the supposed “stigmatization” that came with having the coronavirus and how it hurt people’s feelings. Three weeks later, Italy shut down completely and thousands of people died.

6. CNN: Racist Attacks Are More Threatening Than Coronavirus On February 21, CNN claimed “racist assaults and ignorant attacks against Asians” were spreading faster than the coronavirus itself. According to CNN’s “experts,” rampant ignorance and misinformation about coronavirus has led to racist and xenophobic attacks against anyone who looks East Asian.

Yes, when Trump made the travel ban to and from China, this is what our very own commie media claimed and 3 weeks later turned around and blamed Trump for the spread of the flu created in a china lab.

Thats what I thought. Nothing. Got nothing. Want to see what the cdc and commie world health organization was saying about it and that is why Trump was saying what he was saying and also trying to prevent widespread panic? No?

Want to see it? Let me know.

What we do know is the left wing commie American pravda used the race card to attack Trump for cutting travel from China , and we also see and now know they were the ones likening to the flu and the covid was no big deal.

We also know they desperately tried to deny all of that and yet there they are on record.

Too bad for losers like you that you cannot handle that truth and obfuscate from that fact back to Trrruuuump who was following reports and advice from the WHO and cdc.

Let me know if you want to show what they were saying early on.

Thought not. No, go away. Your debate skills suck.

Why would anyone read anything the NYT or the WaPo says when you know a retraction will be coming later? They just make shit up. I wouldn't be surprised if they screwed up the sports scores too.

Trump made the travel ban to and from China...

The truth is that thousands of Chinese and foreign nationals from Hong Kong and Macau entered the U.S. in the three months following the supposed "ban." Thousands of Americans and foreigners still arrived in the U.S. on direct flights from China after the restrictions were imposed.

Trump's inability to face up to the threat of the pandemic is far too well documented for Trump bum-kissing revisionism.

Trump’s Statements About the Coronavirus

Jan. 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.” — Trump in a CNBC interview.
Jan. 30: “We think we have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five — and those people are all recuperating successfully. But we’re working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for us … that I can assure you.” — Trump in a speech in Michigan.
Feb. 10: “Now, the virus that we’re talking about having to do — you know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat — as the heat comes in. Typically, that will go away in April. We’re in great shape though. We have 12 cases — 11 cases, and many of them are in good shape now.” — Trump at the White House. (See our item “Will the New Coronavirus ‘Go Away’ in April?“)
Feb. 14: “There’s a theory that, in April, when it gets warm — historically, that has been able to kill the virus. So we don’t know yet; we’re not sure yet. But that’s around the corner.” — Trump in speaking to National Border Patrol Council members.
Feb. 23: “We have it very much under control in this country.” — Trump in speaking to reporters.
Feb. 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” — Trump in a tweet.
Feb. 26: “So we’re at the low level. As they get better, we take them off the list, so that we’re going to be pretty soon at only five people. And we could be at just one or two people over the next short period of time. So we’ve had very good luck.” — Trump at a White House briefing.
Feb. 26: “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.” — Trump at a press conference.
Feb. 26: “I think every aspect of our society should be prepared. I don’t think it’s going to come to that, especially with the fact that we’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.”...

As Trump continually dismissed valid concerns, the truth was that the nation was on the way to 33,576,867 cases and 604,852 deaths.

It's far too late to deceive Americans:

He didn't know then that this was a BIO WEAPON that the CHINESE weaponized to spread easier than natural virus's and that both Chinese and the DEMs were working in unison to spread the virus killing as many Americans as possible see dem Gov.s like Whitmere and Cuomo purposely spreading it in nursing homes. By that point in time, the Chinese were buying up the worlds supply of medical equipment to resale at a huge profit knowing all about the virus that they made. Trump didn't make the virus---corrupt dem Fauci and the communist Chinese did though. And fyi, at the same time FAUCI now known to be involved in the development of this weapon was in DAILY contact with CUOMO---life long buds working together to spread Fauci and the Chinese creation.

Not to mention the fact that he:
  • LIED to the American public about the severity of a deadly global pandemic as it was bearing down on us
  • ATTACKED our best health and science officials when they were just trying to do their damn jobs
  • MOCKED Americans who were just trying to protect themselves and their loved ones with masks and social distancing
  • THANKED Trumpsters who gathered in indoor spaces without masks, creating super-spreader events
  • MAINTAINED an environment of not taking the virus seriously, which obviously spread to his sheep, no doubt spreading the virus further
  • IGNORED health safety protocols at the fucking WHITE HOUSE, turning it into a fucking COVID HOT SPOT that needed to be FUMIGATED
  • LIED AGAIN to the American public by constantly saying "we're turning the corner on the virus", even when he knew goddamn well we were not
But his obedient Trumpsters? They don't see a thing.

Yes, when Trump made the travel ban to and from China, this is what our very own commie media claimed and 3 weeks later turned around and blamed Trump for the spread of the flu created in a china lab.
Now matter many times you morons try to twist yourselves into pretzels.....

The fact Trump completely botched the COVID response will not go away

Which shows how much of a weak cuck Trump was...

Fauci was able to be so powerful that he was able to create a bioweapon for China to launch on the US and Trump didn't do shit but whine about it.....

But this is the guy you worship??

It would be like Fauci planning with Al-Queda to launch 9/11 -- and Bush doing nothing but looking stupid while Fauci and Al-Queda called the shots...your cult leader is a bitch......

2. Washington Post: Coronavirus Isn’t So Scary In a “perspective” article, retired Harvard professor David Ropeik wrote for the Washington Post how the cognitive biases in our brain make coronavirus seem scarier then it actually is.

After 40 cases were confirmed, the New York Times decided to highlight the supposed “stigmatization” that came with having the coronavirus and how it hurt people’s feelings. Three weeks later, Italy shut down completely and thousands of people died.
