Remember 50 Years Ago When "Socialism" Presented a Dire Threat to America?

YOu heard it here first, Ladies and Gentlemen….no one has ever died as a result of socialism.

It's a matter of degrees, not all or nothing. Many of us do not want a higher degree of socialism because it promotes sloth and leads to financial collapse.
Get that mental health shit and that socialist cop shit off our records and stop treating us as convicted felons for jaywalking or something stupid like that.

That's a matter of one's perspective. Social Security was set up to work for a 1930s demographic where the average lifespan was 60 years old. Half the people who contributed to it at that time were never going to live long enough to draw from it. Additionally, people in those days had four, five, six, seven kids or more who would grow up to contribute to it as opposed to now when the average American family has 1 and a half children. It's spiraling towards insolvency and there are better alternatives out there in the 21st century. I don't factor Social Security into my retirement planning because I'll likely never receive it after the Boomers suck it dry.

As far as Medicare goes, I won't deny it's been a helpful program for older people who have needed it, but it's also contributed to the increase in health care costs across the board since it underpays the market rate, driving up costs to the rest of us. Prior to Medicare and Medicaid health care costs were relatively affordable for most people. When my father was born my grandparents basically wrote a check to the doctor who delivered him. Doctors used to be make house calls back in those days too. None of this happens anymore largely because of the government's continued interference into our health care system.

Nope, that's not how it works with me. If you ask a stupid question, you get it thrown back in your face. That's how it works.
Haha. I’ll play your game as disrespectful as it may be because I’m actually able to give direct answers to direct questions. Yes socialism has grown in the USA over the passed 50-75 years. Do you agree?

You changing the words now? That’s cute. I’m simply looking for you to explain how millions died in the name of socialism. What does that mean?

Probably because your so-called democratic socialism is a prelude to more hardcore forms of socialism like Nazi fascism or Stalinist Communism. The end is always the same, the people suffer for their own good, because the centralized government always knows best. No thanks.
Slippery slope logical fallacy ^^^.

Unregulated capitalism is an open door for grifters.

Remember when the USSR executed 40 million innocents in the name of socialism?

You left commie cucks are disgusting.

The USSR was never socialist because you can't really be socialist unless you are a democratic republic.
The USSR did not execute 40 million. I don't really remember how many died, but it was just agricultural ignorance mostly.
It was call Lysenkoism.

Hardly slippery slope, just natural progression as shown by history. Where is there unregulated capitalism? The Constitution allows for an acceptable level of regulation, it doesn't allow for the socialist bullshit today's evil Democrats want.
