We used to go to the movies every week, without fail. But Leftists/socialists/America-haters are so rich, so filthy, they turned us off. The last two or three movies we went to see were so bad, we walked out and got our money back. They lie about America, they lie about our military, they lie about how serially racist Americans are, they lie about how awful men are while celebrating the mentally ill, which so many of Hollywood Glitterati are themselves. Transgenders, homosexuals, pedophiles, drug addicts, a thoroughly sick bunch, but hey, they've got money, so......

Only 12 theaters are closing, instead of all 542. More's the pity.

How many American traditional activities have been altered or shut down due to leftist politically incorrect storms, and then replaced by leftist activities ?

How many public swimming holes had to be closed due to leftist politically incorrect storms ?

How many kid's can just take their bicycles and ride all over their communities or even all over their towns anymore without fear, otherwise after the leftist politically incorrect storms had reeked havoc on their safe communities, towns and activities over the year's ?

How many kid's can go to school now without being thrown into a leftist cult nightmare, and so the kid's are losing there as well.

This country has allowed things that has since put it into a box for which it has no way out of, otherwise making citizen's and their families prisoner's relegated to their own homes, but is that what the leftist cult wanted ??? Otherwise did they want it all to themselves so it was actually a working plan that was to play out over the decade's ?

So in summary don't think about the one thing lost, but think about all that has been lost now. Security, safety, fun, sanity, and other very important things that had made this nation highly sought after by immigrant's wanting to immigrate here back in the day.

Destruction from within was a slow and very precise process. Where is the balancing to be found in it all anymore ?

Drive in theaters were great, but a lot of out of wedlock pregnancies probably came out of that activity back in the day, and it may have been one of the biggest contributors to the abortion epidemic that got started back then. This wasn't a leftist thing, but rather was more of hap hazardous thing that any freedom loving teenager probably pinched themselves thinking this can't be real can it ? lol.

Drive-ins are still around. Some new have been built, and some are being reopened. Just have to look for them.

Transit Drive-In Lockport, NY added a fifth screen a few years ago, play first run movies as well as do '80s night on Tuesdays during the Summer and has a kickass concessions bar.

COVID drove DOWN attendance in theaters, pure and simple. I think since the COVID outbreak I've been to the movies maybe 7-Times. Two of those was to a CINEMAX Theater in Novato California. The cost of a ticket is steep. No one wants to pay $12.00 a soda and a hot dog either.

I've been a big fan of going to the movies since I was a kid. Saturday's spent watching a movie (with a cartoon) were great. Now, the cost is a hassle. Celebrating the demise of a theater chain is a cheap shot. Just remember Cons, both George Murphy and Ronnie RayGun were actors (in RayGun's case the chimp got better lines).
