REFORMING ENTITLEMENT
The radical right has a way of sweetening attacks on the American people. Reforming entitlements is another word for taking money from the poor in order to give tax cuts to the rich. Cuts in Social Security, raising Medicare premiums, holding back their cost of living raise and raising the retirement age to 70 is taking money from the elderly. Cutting unemployment checks, food stamp, welfare, Medicaid, subsidized housing, cutting military spending is taking money from the elderly, poor, children, vets and disabled who have paid into the entitlement programs and is like insurance and should be there when they need it.
