This is from South Africa saying it clearly about half way into it. Trump wants to open back up, but places like New York will not listen and Trump doesn't have that power.
The States decided what to do on lock downs...........NOT TRUMP.......and he warned early on about the economy.

Most Red States didn't go full Nazi on lock downs like Blue states did..........And over all data it really made no damn difference on covid whether we locked down or not. The results would have been the same on Covid but not shutting down and spending TRILLION UPON TRILLIONS OF dollars would have avoided the Inflation from hell we have today.
