This was discovered when a woman, who was forced into an abortion by an abusive boyfriend who pushed her down a flight of stairs 5 days prior to her abortion (not reported by the mandatory reporters who aborted her) was killed by abortion:

"Planned Parenthood of Illinois has agreed to pay the state $367,000 to settle a dispute over alleged overbilling of the Medicaid program by the not-for-profit's medical director"

"The settlement comes about a week after the mother of a Planned Parenthood patient filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the organization, alleging that negligence during an abortion contributed to her daughter's death.

In the Medicaid case, the agency alleged that Dr. Hoke overbilled the state an estimated $430,380.02, mostly for services that were not documented, according to records in a DHFS administrative proceeding against Dr. Hoke"

You gotta love those PP people. Using government money to provide wonderful non-abortive *health* services to women. Well, the ones they don't kill, that is.

Here's a fraud case in Texas, where PP agreed to pay back $4.3 MILLION DOLLARS they had defrauded Medicaid out of...billing for services they didn't provide (you know, health services). Cuz we all know all that fed money goes directly to NON-ABORTION HEALTH SERVICES, right?

"...a state investigation determined Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast had “improperly billed the Texas Medicaid program for products and services that were never actually rendered, not medically necessary, and were not covered by the Medicaid program.” In addition, state investigators found that “Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast falsified material information in patients’ medical records.”

So Illinois...Texas...

So, Planned Parenthood was sued by Obama's federal government for overfilling?

And the state of Illinois also disputed some charges and got the money back?

“This was a routine case brought by the (department's inspector general), and it was handled in the same manner as dozens of other cases,” the spokesman wrote in an email. “As in all cases, we are committed to reaching a fair outcome that protects the taxpayers.”

#1 This undercuts any notion of special treatment toward Planned Parenthood under a Dem Prez.

#2 Wouldn't it be nice if Koch companies were as willing to settle with the Federal Government and pay their fines.

#3 Nice try with the wrongful death suit -- has nothing to do with the fraud cases and doesn't belong in your post. It was just filed and may have no merit for all we know. Trying to link it to the story was pretty disingenuous on your part.

I say we need more clinics and more government money to Planned Parenthood.

Oh they get a lot already:

"
Three state-based Planned Parenthood affiliates will receive a total of about $655,000 from the federal government to help consumers navigate their insurance options under ObamaCare.

The grants were announced Thursday as the administration prepares a wide effort to educate the public ahead of open enrollment in the insurance exchanges.

Planned Parenthood affiliates based in Iowa, Montana and New Hampshire received awards to participate in the "navigator" program alongside disease groups, universities and Catholic health agencies.

The grants promise to be controversial among Republicans, who object to Planned Parenthood receiving any public funds because many of its clinics provide abortions.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the group's political arm, was also a strong ally of President Obama in the last election. "

Great point  :eusa_think:

You have a problem with Modern Healthcare and the WSJ?

No, I have other choices.

For example: Exposing the massive fraud visited upon the American people by Planned Parenthood, and their dependence upon federal dollars for funding abortion.

Color me shocked.

Well honey in other developing countries it's called universal health care. Whether you want a heart transplant, a new brain (that would be an option for you) or an abortion.

How is that a choice for someone who cannot afford a baby, idiot?

A person who cannot afford a baby has the option of adoption.

But that is beside the point.

Massive fraud = universal healthcare?

I have to agree. But that's a different thread.

That's fascinating.

But this thread is about the rampant fraud that Planned Parenthood is continually paying out settlements to cover....fraud that consists of them billing medicaid for millions of dollars in services that they are not actually providing, and instead using the money to fund abortions...which is against federal law.

I'm not sure why you think the discussion is about canadian universal health care.
