Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg told an audience at Georgetown Law School on Monday night that the deadline to ratify the 34th amendment had passed, and that it was time “to start over” the efforts.

Last month, Virginia became the 38th state to approve the ERA, which was initially passed in 1972 before going to the states for ratification. The amendment sought to make discrimination on the basis of sex unconstitutional.

The law has to mean something, or it means nothing. If we allow feelz to override the law, it's chaos.

So...here we have this political party that claims to have been screwed in the 2016 election because their candidate "won the popular vote," and the party wants to scrap the Electoral College because it is "anti-democratic," and YET, the want NO PART of a new campaign to raise and present the so-called "Equal Rights Amendment" for a CURRENT vote, because they know the People don't want it.

In fact, they want no part of the Constitutional amendment process for any purpose (e.g., abolish the death penalty, formalize a woman's "right to choose," adjust the right to carry arms, etc), because they know that the American People want no part of the Leftist Agenda.

Yep. RBG has it right. Time to move on.
