Why is the photo caption in German? Was Wheeler really an archeologist or was he a spy? Interesting to note that the U.K. was using imported Egyptian mummies for fertilizer while the Queen (the king?) was awarding knighthood to this jerk for his archeologist victories. The guy had a swashbuckling moustache though. Maybe that's all it took to catch the eye of the royals.
