Quiz- What religion are you?

My shocking results: :cof:

94% Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant

Also sometimes referred to as traditionalist, orthodox, fundamentalist, or evangelical. This is an umbrella term for Protestant denominations, or churches within denominations, which are Bible-centered, viewing the Holy Bible as the final and only authority, the inerrant Word of God, interpreted literally as law. There are more than 2,000 Protestant denominations offering a wide range of beliefs, from extremely liberal to mainline to ultra-conservative, and those that include characteristics on both ends. Examples include some churches within Pentecostal, Southern Baptist, fundamentalist, evangelical, Lutheran, etc. Anglican/Episcopalian is often regarded as a "bridge" denomination between Roman Catholic and Protestant.

Your Results:

The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.

Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

Could have knocked me over with a feather! If I ever walked into a church, the walls would probably collapse!

I can't really 100% agree with the conclusions. Based on the summary of denominational beliefs, vis a vis my own, conservative Christianity and Catholicism should rank higher; Jehova's Witnesses, lower. Ah, well - who among us is perfect?

"Non-theist" is really the most accurate description of
my religious views.

From what little I have read of it I am not much in tune
with the orgainzation calling itself "Secular Humanist".

I am familiar with Unitarianism as a non-Trinitarian sect
of Christianity. If this is the same as Unitarian "Universalism",
then placing it second for me is inaccurate.

Another thing glaringly wrong here is that I would
rank Roman Catholicism much higher, certainly way
over Islam, and probably equal to Mainline/Liberal
Protestantism.

I am a Buddhist, so I guess this was somewhat accurate. I practice both Mahayana and Theravada. My wife is Theravada and I'm Mahayana. I know nothing about Quaker or why that would apply. Looks like Shinto is not on the list, or I would have scored that as well. It's puzzling that Orthodox and Roman Catholic scoreed lowest because if I had to convert to Christianity those would be my first choices.

1. Theravada Buddhism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (96%)
3. Mahayana Buddhism (90%)
4. Liberal Quakers (88%)
5. Neo-Pagan (80%)
6. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (79%)
7. New Age (75%)
8. Taoism (75%)
9. Secular Humanism (75%)
10. Jainism (73%)
11. Sikhism (71%)
12. Hinduism (61%)
13. Orthodox Quaker (55%)
14. Bahá'í Faith (51%)
15. New Thought (51%)

22. Orthodox Judaism (31%)
23. Jehovah's Witness (27%)
24. Islam (25%)
25. Seventh Day Adventist (23%)
26. Eastern Orthodox (20%)
27. Roman Catholic (20%)

I picked an answer..but it wasn't accurate:

1. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (100%)
2. Orthodox Quaker (91%)
3. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (84%)
4. Bah' Faith (80%)
5. Eastern Orthodox (71%)
