I don't know if this is true, but someone told me that when Sarah Palin was on Glenn Beck, he asked her who her "favorite" founding father was and she couldn't name one. In fact, she said, "All of them". Now, there are some names that everyone knows. Do you believe "All of them" or do you believe she seriously couldn't name a single one?

Is that story true?

I believe she couldn't single out just one particular founding father. So many of them were influential in the shaping of America. I myself would be hard pressed to choose just one favorite.

Who cares?

Sarah Palin is a pep rally at best she is not a viable political candidate for anything.

All she is and ever will be is a rich celebrity talking head. But then again maybe that's why all you people are fixated on her. After all who wouldn't want her kind of meteoric success and multi million dollar income?

If you're that concerned about it, why search online for the clip. Then you can find out in context what she said.

Quite frankly, I dont really care.

She probably thought they were a rock band.

A Christian Rock Band? Oh great, all the world needs is more of that crappy music.

On what basis do you choose John Marshal over James Madison? Thomas Pain vs Sam Adams? Thomas Jefferson vs Ben Franklin?

Was Anthony Wayne a better tactician the Francis Marion?

Might make an interesting discussion if you would list who you like best and why

I can see you hating Alexander Hamilton though.

So nobody is going to point out that it was stupid fucking question to begin with? They weren't fucking Power Rangers, they were the Founders of this country.

Glenn Beck is a retard with a thesaurus. Too bad that he doesn't realize that there were a shitload of Progressives in that group of founders.

Because lots of Americans have a favorite among the Founders... and while I can't attest to what Beck does or does not know about the Founders - I am pretty confident that anyone who studies those great men would see that all of the were 'progressives' in their own way. After all, they committed treason to found a great nation. However, what they were not is socialist. Let's not pretend that 1700's progressives and 2010 progressives have anything in common. That, mo chara, is laughable. How many of the founders do you think would agree with Nanny States? And, before you answer, you better know your shit about the founders because I certainly do.

I don't know why the pussy didn't just say this was a Sarah Palin thread.

Pussy?

Yea, pussy on a stick.
