I think he's as pushy and intimidating as he can be without putting himself in real danger. I think Trump is a coward at the end of the day.
I agree, that is why he went to the White House instead of marching with his followers like he said he would.
How do you get him in court with this?

So it's probably not very productive for the left to be so focused on it. I think what will impress people is positivity, creativity and new ideas.

The District of Columbia's police department on Monday said two more police officers who responded to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol have died by suicide, bringing to four the number of known suicides by officers who guarded the building that day.

Sorry bot. The officers that committed suicide because of PTSD get counted too.
And of those, Babbitt was the only one who got herself killed on purpose.
The other three that died that day....died from being out of shape.

Trump's goons were obviously intent on overthrowing a democratic election on January 6, but do whomever you claim to hear explain why they believe Trump's goons were attempting to destroy our republic?

2:00 p.m.: As a violent mob breached the Capitol building, Trump accidentally phoned Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, while trying to reach Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Alabama. Lee reportedly handed the phone to the Alabama senator, according to CNN and Utah's Deseret News.2:39 p.m. Trump tweets: “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

Tuberville revealed Thursday night that he spoke to Trump and informed him Pence had been evacuated from the Senate chamber, which happened at about 2:15 p.m., House impeachment managers said.
The president reportedly told Tuberville to continue to object to the election results in order to buy more time, which House prosecutors pointed out in their opening argument. Lee dismissed that account as inaccurate, prompting House impeachment managers to withdraw the comments that were quoted from the news report.
2:24 p.m.: Minutes after it was reported Pence was escorted out of the Senate chamber and Trump reportedly spoke to Tuberville, the president attacks Pence in a tweet.
“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”

I often hear people talk about January 6th as if it was Trump's attempt to overthrow our republic.
Do you really think he would have done that? Let's say crazy right wingers had taken a bunch of politicians hostage and shit had really hit the fan in Washington. How many of you believe Trump would actually have endorsed that? Because if Trump hadn't been willing to do that our republic could not have actually been in danger of being overthrown, right? He would have had to endorse political force and take charge of that attack.

Did he also tell his goons who assaulted the outnumbered police that he loved them? Indeed, he did.
Trump's goons tried to overthrow, by force, a democratic election, the results of which had been certified by all 50 states, and they failed to do so. The legislature and the Vice President still fulfilled their Constitutional responsibilities after the Trump goons were thrwarted.
Despite the strident raving of some of the Trump goons, no officeholder was hanged.
Hundreds have been identified, apprehended, indicted, and are being prosecuted.
A Capitol riot suspect was persuaded to storm the building on Jan. 6 after spending hours watching Fox News and listening to former President Donald Trump's election fraud lies, his lawyer said.
Anthony Antonio, 27, of Delaware, was arrested last month on five federal charges including knowingly entering or remaining on restricted grounds without lawful authority; violent entry and disorderly conduct; impeding law enforcement during civil disorder; disrupting Congress; and damaging government property.
Joseph Hurley, a Delaware-based lawyer: “He became hooked with what I call ‘Foxitus’ or ‘Foxmania’ and became interested in the political aspect and started believing what was being fed to him."
