Despite no polling data on the Senate since 10/5/13 on RCP most of the columnists featured there seem to take it as a given that there are few if any safe D seats. The RCP map shows the Ds holding the senate and yet the only columnist question is whether dread of the employer exchange will make the Rs filibuster-proof or even veto-proof?

As to the house it sounds like a prediction of a barely veto sustaining minority status perhaps with Green and Socialist party members of the D caucus. Again no map or other data at the district level. What is going on?

RCP itself was founded as a conservative site, but its poll aggregator is non-partisan.

IMO, there are absolutely safe seats for now. But everyone thought Senator Feingold was safe in 2009 and he got creamed by one of my favorite Senators, Ron Johnson.

a potential tsunami

Republicans can still screw it up though.

As to what's going on at RCP, how many polls have been taken? RCP has to have something to work with before they register any shifts caused by O-care.
