It seems to me that most of the climate-change-promoters ignore the reality of the Third World and the Developing World.

We in the U.S., Western Europe, Canada, Japan, and other advanced societies could probably work our way into an existence that produces dramatically less "carbon pollution" (although that would ignore agriculture, construction, mining, manufacturing, OTR trucks, railroads and planes), but for the rest of the world, burning coal is the cheapest, most dependable way into modernity. Anything else is folly.

Aren't they entitled to electric light, heat, cheap, reliable transportation, and the Internet? Without burning coal and petroleum, it just ain't happening.
