And the history being taught is telling our kids America was founded on racism, hate, evil white men!
The problem is that this new history isn't balanced with the phrase.."generational acceptance".
Generational acceptance means teaching children about "racism" in the 1500,1600,etc. of the America doesn't balance with the knowledge at that time!
I mean you are a perfect example! You use a moniker "Hellbilly" which to Americans in the 1920s would consider an insult! How disgusting! Someone so "generational acceptance" ignorant would TODAY never use that moniker.
And so while the generations in the 1920s would have found that an insult, they would have no problem using the word "n****r" in common speaking.
But for some reason today's educators aren't evidently intellectually capable of telling their students..."generational acceptance" i.e. that was acceptable.
And while pompous and ignorant people shame those people as "racists" dummies... these pompous educators evidently haven't enough intelligence to
understand "generational acceptance" standards, i.e. admit that the statements, opinions, etc. of the 1920s generation for example aren't acceptable now,
the educator would couch their students in understanding and intellectual acceptance...i.e. this was the way it was in the 1920s... bad today but if the student were living in the 1920s, acceptable. Understanding. Intellectual honesty.
Now being a judgmental person as I am, I totally believe everything I wrote above goes way above a "Hillbilly's" head...but that's my limited awareness of

I'm not entirely sure what your word salad is supposed to mean except that you want teachers to go through all kinds of justification and rationalization for why your ancestors subjugated and committed genocide against non-white peoples. But then that brings up the uncomfortable questions as to why you're still treating non-whites as second or third class citizens. Which is probably your REAL problem with teaching about racism.

It's not that difficult. Our ancestors were just that arrogant, and the Catholic Church told them it was OK. You don't have to tie yourself into knots to protect your precious snowflakes. People handle the truth a whole lot better than your current lies.

What history book are they using that teaches kids what you claim? I just had a kid graduate and there was only US history taught and nothing else. The kids can and do think for themselves and determine their own ideas on the history of the nation.
