Is this a thread about Mandela, or one where we can point out how the narcissist thought that talking himself was an appropriate way to remember one of the greatest men in history?

Here's how Obama honored Mandela on the White House website: with a picture of himself watching television:

It's tempting to think ill of Nobama for winging his way to The Mandela Funeral when he wouldn't be bothered to attend the memorial for Margaret Thatcher.

But then one remembers that her family expressed the desire that the funeral not be turned into a vulgar media circus nor become an excuse for a shopping trip.

Thank you Mr. President for your words of inspiration on the passing of President Mandela.

Obama: Mandela 'took history in his hands' and wrought justice
I read earlier today how Obama gave his very first speech ever at an anti-apartheid campaign when he was at Occidental College - it was at a campus rally protesting the college's investments in companies doing business in South Africa.

Years later, both he and Mandela would each become the first black Presidents of their respective countries.

The arc of the universe is amazing.

Has Obama said one word yet about the raping, torturing, genocoding murders of White People in South Africa?
