Fellow Conservatives:

John Boehner has been fighting with Conservatives lately, and I know, sometimes it looks like he's a Democrat in Republican clothing, but there is a method to his madness. Now don't get me wrong, Boehner is an idiot and is just about as far from a true conservative as one can get and still be hated by the left. I'm not going to support the guy, I just know what he's trying to do.

This is all about winning back the Senate and keeping the House. He wants the coming election campaigning to be all about Benghazi and Obamacare. He doesn't want the Democrats to have any ammunition to throw back at the GOP. He doesn't want a government shutdown, or a budget battle or, and I'm making a prediction here, a fight over immigration. I predict that soon, there will be a compromise on immigration as well.

Boehner is almost like the Democrats in many ways but in this case he's borrowing a particularly disgusting page from the DNC playbook. Like them, he doesn't give a rat's ass about the country, about the people, about the budget or about conservative principles. He wants to win, and he is following the playbook to the letter. Like the democrats have always done, it's damn the country, damn the people, let's gain and hold on to power.

That's what we can expect from the establishment GOP from now until the elections are over. Let's join them in railing against obamacare and the tragedy at Benghazi, and then let's vote them out in the primaries.

That about covers it.

I guess we can all take a recess until next October.

:D

agree completely and hope they pass the budget.

we do not need any distractions NOW - we need the ability to win back the Senate and then we can kill obamacare.

hope they can explain that to the most resistant - that the truce on one battle does not mean the war is lost.
There are tactics and strategy.

Boehner is playing strategy here.

How does Benghazi relate to the midterms? None of the congressmen had anything to do with it.

I agree this budget needs (-ed) to be passed, so for once in a blue moon, I agree with Boehner. This isn't the time for games or politicking. While I still consider myself a Tea Partier, I will happily break rank with them if I need to. People need to get off their high horse and cooperate with one another if they wish to have any hope of taking back the Senate next November.

Passing this bill is an excellent strategic move for Boehner, and a shot in the foot for Democrats who hopped on board in support. They want extensions for unemployment benefits, but signed on anyway. I believe that will come to hurt them next year, which will add insult to the Obamacare injury.

Oh, believe me, when you abandon your own countrymen like that, people won't forget it. He's already abandoned them, now he's abandoned an American Pastor in Iran; not even attempting to fight for his release. If the people have their way, they'll put people in office who actually give a damn about their fellow Americans.

It doesn't, the right wing propaganda machine has been trying to make a mountain out of a molehill for months and months and only their sheep are buying the propaganda.

He should be touting how the republican Congress has almost cut Obama's deficit in half in only 5 years.

Sadly Ronald Reagan is long gone and I don't see another.

^ This. I've said this several times, the big gov loving Rs like gov's fingers and hands in this and will not do anything that removes it from big gov's power. Big gov pols are big gov pols, party be damned.

Its principal (idealism) versus politics (realism).

They are going to try the politics this time in an effort to gain control of the Congress and rein in the Lying Marxist in the White House.

That's a worthy goal.

But, when and if works, then it is high time that the Republican whores in Congress quit whoring and do something for the next generation of Americans---like balancing the budget and cutting this profligate spending.

If that's what you want, vote democratic. All the GOP ever does spend the nation into oblivion and destroys the economy.

Too bad nobody Cares about this issue beyond talking heads.

I like how the Op manages to just blame democrats in the whole party over country in true partisan hackery.

Fuck you pred
