Like them, he doesn't give a rat's ass about the country, about the people, about the budget or about conservative principles. He wants to win, and he is following the playbook to the letter. Like the democrats have always done, it's damn the country, damn the people, let's gain and hold on to power.

That's what we can expect from the establishment GOP from now until the elections are over. Let's join them in railing against obamacare and the tragedy at Benghazi, and then let's vote them out in the primaries.

I agree this budget needs (-ed) to be passed, so for once in a blue moon, I agree with Boehner. This isn't the time for games or politicking. While I still consider myself a Tea Partier, I will happily break rank with them if I need to. People need to get off their high horse and cooperate with one another if they wish to have any hope of taking back the Senate next November.

Passing this bill is an excellent strategic move for Boehner, and a shot in the foot for Democrats who hopped on board in support. They want extensions for unemployment benefits, but signed on anyway. I believe that will come to hurt them next year, which will add insult to the Obamacare injury.
