I’d go up to the Muslim when he was done and ask him how he feels about homosexuals and transgenders.

Why do you assume someone is a “religious freak”? Just because we respect one man’s choice and rights to pray on a football field after a game with some kids?

I’ve seen NFL players pray on the field. Even during a game when someone gets injured. Are you going to protest that?

Jesus also prayed in public. In the synagogue. In front of thousands and thousands of people before he miraculously multiplied the loaves and fishes.

His point here is do not pray with the SOLE purpose of being seen, to fluff yourself up. That's it.

Bible interpretation with people who neither respect, understand or study the Bible is really....something.

I think it might be a good idea for us to try and re-set our expectations of Christians.

All these years, I've tended to think of Christians as devout, humble, honest, decent people who do their best every day to live their lives as close as they humanly can to the teachings of Jesus. I've known many Christians who were and are like that.

It's not like that any more, at least in a large part. My bad. Live and learn.
