Poverty. What is it Between America's Capitalist Society and Other Capitalist Societies.

That's a great place to start because I've never lost track of that fact
theres only been one proven way to get more people out of poverty and thats free market capitalism not government run capitalism,,

and all social programs are designed to keep people in poverty not get them out,,

You make bold statements and cannot prove any of them.

The Private Sector is for profit; the Public Sector is not. Example: Insurance companies are not in business to pay claims. Which sector has the power and duty to regulate insurance companies?

Regulated capitalism is far and away better than lassiez faire as can be proved by looking at poverty in America. Keep in mind that our economy depends on consumer spending. That too can be proved by looking how small business' employ a large number workers now out of work; the risk is another housing crisis on our horizon.
then tell me oh great one,, what social policy other than K-12 school has gotten someone out of poverty??

if those helped so much then why is there still so much poverty??? it would have been better to lower taxs and allow th free market to hiring more people,,

now on the otherhand free market has raised millions out of poverty,,,

LOL, free markets, by that you mean no minimum wage, or a wage which even a FT employee will still be left living in poverty.

BTW, your side of the aisle wants to cut taxes, and the tax reform act written by a lame duck Congress and signed by Trump: Cut taxes for the wealthiest earners (top two tax brackets eliminated); reduced the percentage of income tax for corporations (some don't pay any income tax); added a double standard deduction which will sunset in 2027.

Two-thirds of the cuts went to the rich, one-third to the masses; and, the rich cuts are forever, and the standard deduction will be at the least cut in half, or because of the debt incurred by so many tax breaks, even lower.
because theres a min wage there are thousands of less educated people not working that will never get out of poverty,,

as for where the cuts went you can blame dems and repubes for that not the system,,
Only lousy management does that. Our infrastructure is becoming third world. Upgrading infrastructure means more local jobs and more capital circulating locally under our form of Capitalism.

Your statement on regulated capitalism is covert Satan Worship and cannibalism.

But which party has been most involved in closing down small businesses and attacking anybody who dares suggest they should be able to earn a living, and how is this sort regulation better, again?

Anybody? Anybody? Ferris?
...certainly not the party that condones helping people die from the pandemic merely for the (moral and capital) sake of private profit.

Better solutions that promote and provide for the general welfare of the United States is what are necessary and proper.
Private profit?

You mean like how Jeff Bezos has been enriched by 70 billion dollars due to this attack on small business, that sort of private profit?

That's right, and it's indicating why America's capitalism has left the people behind so far. We can talk about it in a calm way.

You make bold statements and cannot prove any of them.

??

The Private Sector is for profit; the Public Sector is not.

Yes, and that's why America's health care system is so bad statistically.

American style capitalism has impoverished the working people and now they turn to Walmart for Chinese made products. And then the accuse each other of not buying American.

I'm not sure just what is your schtick but if you have any questions just ask.

It's a question that was asked in an old thread but it wasn't framed correctly. The old thread asked the question of comparing America's capitalism with communism or socialism, and that is wrong right from the beginning!

Clearly the question is on why America's greedy style of capitalism needs to be compared to 'socially responsible' capitalism in the world's leading democracies.

And so, in a nutshell: Americans permit their government to steal the wealth away from the working people and allow huge income inequality to exist. No country, even America with it's great wealth, can allow that situation to continue to exist in this 21st. century. There must be some attempt to spread the wealth around for the betterment of the people and the country.

America's current situation of strife and near civil war is being caused by it's system of greedy capitalism.

Why is the US always giving these 'socially responsible' capitalistic money?

LOL, free markets, by that you mean no minimum wage, or a wage which even a FT employee will still be left living in poverty.

"Free" is the ability of the very wealthy to horde the country's wealth, in a nutshell. American society have been sold a meaning of 'free' that has nothing at all to do with the working class being free to live a life befitting the enormous wealth of the country.

You've got it about right but you're faced with arguing with your peers because they have bought the bill of goods that rips them off, and have swallowed it whole.

America's quality of life has fallen to 15th. in the world but that's still somewhat bearable to people who have swallowed the pablum. But it can't fall any further because the effects will bring the revolution. And not just the Trump supporters' revolution.

What if the scenario was that Amazon, Apple, etc... were owned and run by thousands of people?
Would we have the technology we have today?

Why is the US always giving these 'socially responsible' capitalistic money?

America doesn't give out money unless it's going to pay a high return. Even aid to African countries is done with the motive of gaining or maintaining control over the recipient's territory and people.

Each individual case of the US 'giving' money needs to be analyzed specifically for the more complete answer.

You've only provided a kneejerk generic comment with no specificity. I can't be more specific with just that!

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Violence is a ignorant solution for solving a problem
not always,,

Violence isn't only an ignorant response, it creates another problem, over crowding of our prison system with people like you.
As an ex prison worker, I can attest to the fact that very few "people like him" are in there, but they are full of lying scum like you.
His statement was a personal attack just like all these false accusations of racism.

Why is the US always giving these 'socially responsible' capitalistic money?
Because the unorganized militia must follow civil orders that promote and provide for the general welfare of the United States.

I am fully aware of how the US exploits other nations as opposed to helping it's own citizens.

Your answer has 0 to do with the question.

I'm pleased that this has become such a popular thread, but not at all surprised because it digs to the heart of America's problems. Problems that are just undeniable even just a few days before Trump is taken out of the WH.

Unfortunately, it has not resulted in many real answers to the problems as it was intended to do.

Capitalism in America has become bastardized in a way that has granted free reign to the wealthy to take all that they please, leaving little for the working class. This is the major difference between America's capitalism and that which is practiced in the world's leading democracies.

And now the results of that have come full circle and the effects on the working people has put America in huge strife that has brought the nation close to civil war.

What is the way out of this mess for America's working people? Has the status quo succeeded in throwing up enough road blocks to make it close to impossible for working class America to gain back a piece of the American pie?

Revolution has just failed because off lack of commitment and lack of positive direction from Trump. He feared taking it as far as would be necessary. But will Trump try again from a safer perch where he's not the president?

The hurting of the working people has created a situation in which revolution could be possible and it's now almost to the point at which it could be aided and abetted by police and military.

Something has to break before the lot of working Americans gets much worse!

As Capitalism comes of old age in a country, is it reallly just fatally doomed to failure in the way that America's capitalism is now failing?

Are the world's leading capitalist countries doomed to the same failure as they continue on with the capitalist experiment?

Or will those other countries have left an escape route open to 'socially responsible government?

It's at least worth mentioning that China has embarked on a different and comparably new path. Will China's path work better for them for hundreds of years?

It must because eminent domain must apply. You simply need a better understanding of the question and the concepts involved.

Government is socialism and we merely need to learn how to use Capitalism for all of its capital worth in modern economic times.
