Pope trying to change DP doctrine

I think the crank said he was from Germany in a post once.

Damn, it couldn't be our old STASI mate from AWE?

And what kind of behavior is this now? ¿Mobbing?
Naw, zaan is just a fake Holocaust survivor.

Okay - mobbing, defamation and so on and so on. The typical Nazi methods. Now you need only a tyranny - as for example a Soviet state, a Nazi state or a Jihadist state and you can eliminate whomever you like to eliminate, child of the darkness. I read just a few minutes ago the book of Carl Campeau "Meine Seele kriegt ihr nie" - God bless him and his family - and I don't see a big difference between the character of the jihadists who tortured this guy and the character of your "trinity" here. For them and you it's totally unimportant what's right or wrong.

folks----back to practical matters. Lets face facts----POPES are important
people. I foresee some turmoil in the catholic church based on FRANCES.
Some time ago------a "john paul" (if I remember correctly) suddenly dropped dead. I did not really BELIEVE the rumor that his demise was DEVISED---
but------people more in the know than am I , DID

Popes are important political figures as they have influence over Catholics.

I am not familiar with the conspiracy theory about the death of John Paul, I either missed or ignored it. I suspect it is pretty obscure.

John Paul was a voice along with Thatcher and Reagan that promoted individual liberty and responsibility, a man who condemned the totalitarian states. Quite the opposite of Marxist Pope Francis.

I don't actually believe in god, nor do I think Pope Francis does. From all evidence, the only god Pope Francis worships is Karl Marx.

I am also limited on the subject---BUT the skuttlebutt at that time----that I got from a friend of Italian
catholic background was that it has something to do with banking and Vatican holdings????? As to
Francis----seems to me that LIKE SOROS---he is
trying to be COOL ----a throw back to the acid-
heads of the 1960s

List of capital crimes in the Torah - Wikipedia

That is why capital punishment was taken away from the Sanhedrin in 30AD.

If there is capital punishment in the NT tell me about it?

try again----capital punishment was "taken away"
from the Sanhedrin by the Sanhedrin when it was
dominated by Pharisees. Capital punishment was
taken away from Israeli courts by the pharisees.
It's talmudic thing----school of Hillel

What do the practices of secular governments have to do with God. Render to Caesar.

If someone believes in "God", he believes everything comes from "God", even Caesar himself and anything that has any image on it. Jesus put those testing him to the test (again), and they failed (again). They didn't understand him, and their lack is widely shared in our times. Jesus saw existence in very big terms and those with limited views may as well be entirely blind.

the situation described in "MATTHEW" is ludicrous as
it is interpreted by christian scholars <<<< at least the
interpretations I have encountered which include something like "herodians", "Pharisees" and "chief priests" went "hand in hand" to attack Jesus

??? Roman government was secular? It was gentile but not secular
I was addressing the OP and the OP's reference to modern times.

Rome's governance was secular though. At least that's how I recall it.

Rome's governance was based in the religion of Rome
at that time. The emperor was a "god" by declaration of the Senate. The Senate was the Roman form of today's COLLEGE OF CARDINALS

That doesn't make it a theocracy.

Sounds like a secular government to me.

sounds like a baby-textbook to me----sorta like
THE PILGRIMS AND THE INDIANS WERE FRIENDS.
Rome was a theocracy. Julius Caesar was MADE A
"GOD" by the Roman senate and there were "holy"
statues placed in HIS TEMPLE. The Romans built
"temples" wherever they conquered. The arena "games" were religious events

You should read the baby book, dummy. They had a constitution, detailed laws, and elected officials such as senators.

Since you believe Rome was a theocracy, what was their state religion, simpleton?

DIIE PARENTES, imbecile. the emperor and his ancestors and the founders of Rome were DEIFIED
and worshiped along with a bevy of mostly Greek
derived gods. The STATE built Great Temples to
the conglomerate and householders engaged in
religious rituals thruout the realm. I do not know
Latin.

SO? ancient rome was a theocracy. Lots of theocracies have detailed laws and elected officials and even what some of them call a constitution

I see nothing wrong with the death penalty if all the Biblical ducks are in a row. There must be at least two witnesses to a murder for a conviction.
