Funded, supplied, armed, and even trained ISIS in exchange for a promise they would help fight Assad...for which he offered them protection - not allowing anyone to strike their HQs . oil facilities / oil tankers, allowed them to engage freely in black market oil smuggling that financed 50% of their operation, allowed them to freely flood into Iraq where they slaughtered thousands while taking much of the country our military had liberated at great cost, and facilitated (helped ensured the funding) of the Paris attacks that left over 15o dead...which he callously called a 'Set-back'.
The day before the Paris attacks he admitted his foreign policy was flawed but declared his goal had always been to 'contain' - not defeat - ISIS and that he had done so.
Obama spent $millions$ to train 6 Jihadists to fight Assad...5 became ISIS and Russia killed the 6th.
Putin has secured his spot in Syria...along with Iran...and Barry,, who failed to get Assad out when he was alone (cowardly backing down from his Red Line) NOW is so obsessed with Assad that he has no problem jeopardizing our national security by wanting to go after Assad...and Russia...and Iran, all good buddies.
Putin has taken out the anti-Assad rebels, defeating Obama's plan, and is now fighting ISIS. At least Putin KNOWS who the REAL threat is - ISIS! Obama (who looks at ISIS as an ALLY) still seeks to minimize their threat and focus on ASSAD. ISIS just hit one of our allies the worst since WWII...but Obama believes a dictator in Syria trying to hold on to the power he has in his own country is more of a threat than a foe that has slaughtered thousands all over the world, who is in France, Belgium, Germany, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and even in the US?!
