Helena Fischer is the Star in Germany, a former USSR citizen who moved to Germany after Perestroika.
Germans love Russian Musik

Litwin, I advise you to put the song to your Hit List
Unfortunately she doesn't looks like to be a Mongolian as you always blame Russians
You can die of envy and hate, you can't stop Russia and its people

Baron Here's another one to your list. That chick was good too. I'm not sure why she has the accent though, she was born in Russia after all.

There are subs. English or whatever.

What is your problem, weirdo? Pope John Paul II also loved this song. It is from 1933 AD.

Prairie, O prairie,
Prairie, open and wide,
Heroes are riding across the prairie,
Oh, Red Army heroes.

Lassies are crying,
Lassies are forlorn today,
Their laddies are leaving for a long time,
Oh, their laddies are leaving for the army.

Lassies, pay attention,
Look at the road we ride on,
The road is long and windy,
Oh, what a merry road.

We only see
We only see the gray clouds,
The hate of the enemy from the forest,
Oh, the enemy's hate is like a dark cloud.

Oh, lassies, pay attention,
We are ready to fight the foes,
Our horses are fleet-footed,
Our tanks are swiftly rolling.

Oh, let our farmers,
Work with peace of mind,
Today we are the guards,
Today we are guarding them.

Her parents had been children of so called "Black Sea Germans" who had been displaced in world war 2 and had been sent to the prison Siberia. They left Siberia in 1988 when it was for them possible to do so. Helene Fischer was born in 1984. So she was 4 years old when she left Russia and came to Germany. She became one of the best payed musicians worldwide.

The women supports Ukraine and her popularity is gone among Russians

Who cares about an artificially created popularity of Helene Fischer in Putins new Russia? Helene Fischer? This I doubt.

Translation:

They talk about war again
Dreaming once again of victory
Rhapsodizing about times gone by
What the hell, I'm alive

Rock'n'roll is dying again
We're hard as nails again
The family is healthy
So what, I'm alive

Yes, I'm alive
And I'm alive, more and more
So what, I'm alive, yes I'm alive
Life is not so hard

And now I've met you
You're in my head
I got drunk tonight
Cause I love you (all)

Cause I love you
Cause I love you more and more
Cause I love you, cause I love you
It's not so hard to love

Please don't be offended
That I don't get my brains scrambled
What tomorrow will bring
I don't give a damn
Come on, let's live

Come on, let's live
Come on, let's live, more and more
Come on, let's live, let's live
Life is not so hard

Come on, let's love, let's love
Let's love, let's love more and more
Come on, let's love, let's love
It's not so hard to love

Interesting is this old Soviet song, kind of an anti-war song from 1961, not controversial at the time, first the original version.

However, because of the lyrics, it has become very controversial. I think they even tried to ban it, I don't remember the whole story, but I read about it a while back. Looking it up now, it seems charges for discrediting the armed forces were brought against this famous actor for singing it.
