Whether I consider the review of a serious situation as desirable (or not) depends on my assessment of the qualifications of those conducting the hearing, special committee, or audit. Long ago I came to conclusion that congressional hearings are rather useless.

There were no BLM riots. That was a term used pin the actions of criminal whites and Blacks on the BLM organization.

BLM marches were peaceful, although the street fighting that followed some of the marches were not. But they did not amount to a coordinate attack on the U.S. Government that was carried out by domestic terrorists and foreign operatives on Jan. 6 at the nation's Capitol. There is no equivalence.

This is what upsets people so much. They see all the effort going into this sham “investigation” with Dem handpicked people in charge and handpicked witnesses. Then they see BLM and Antifa rioters attempt to murder people in Portland on multiple occasions and get no charges. Yet Jan. 6 protestors (using the left and media definition this was a peaceful protest) are being jailed without bail on essentially trespassing charges. Unequal application of the law should upset any American.

Explain why the KKKers in Congress voted down the proposal to set up a commission with an equal amount of members from both parties. There is no other way to get a full accounting of the Jan. 6 terrorist attack on the U.S. Government in Constitutional session, which the American People are owed, except by creating a House committee. It is not a "sham." It is the direct result of GOP trash refusing to do their jobs, which they are under oath to do.

We Americans have a right to know exactly what went on at the Capitol, the White House, and the Pentagon, and who was involved in decision-making that afternoon. Remember that trump said that day that "we" are going to the Capitol and then went straight back to the White House, plunked down in front of the TV, and made no decision as the sitting chief executive/commander-in-chief. We didn't see a lackluster performance by him. We saw NO performance by him even as the officers who testified and their colleagues were having the shit beaten out of them down the street, some by thugs in combat gear, and why was anyone wearing combat gear?

Why did we see no decisive action by a clown who still wants to be POTUS even though he demonstrated that he is not qualified for the position?

We must hear from scores of witnesses, including everyone who had a conversation with trump on Jan. 6.

Stop whining about Portland, whatever happened, and we don't have arrest records, etc, to verify what has been said about what happed in Portland., when our nation sustained a full scale terrorist attack on Jan. 6. The thugs who attacked our Congress on that day are being held in jail on much worse charges than "trespassing," some of whom physically attacked the police and threatened to do bodily harm to others.

One of these thugs was arrested and held again this week, but he spoke of further violent attacks, had bomb-making materials, and ordered 37 guns off of the internet. The judge rightly determined that the public could not be protected unless he was kept caged.

I can't believe that you are so stupid as to try and equate a coordinated attack on the U.S. Congress, meeting to perform its duty under the Constitution, carried out by terrorists from many different states, many clothed in combat gear, and carrying an array of weapons, with attacks on some federally-owned properties by street hoodlums.

Moreover, show us "coordinated," social media posts, internet cites, some form of coordination by a group operating interstate.

I'd rather see hearings on how our government used COVID to cheat in an election, replace employment with entitlements, assault small business for sake of China & Amazon, while Dominicrat Govts. allowed scumbags to destroy cities only to blame Trump for it, and a Xiden admin. who claims we cannot go too deeply into debt while they greatly expand govt. over-reach. Who wants to have those hearings instead of what's behind doors 1-3 for political appearances?
