The people chose the President and Senate. The President nominates the justices, the Senate confirms the justices. The People have chosen their President, his name is Donald J Trump, he is President until January 20th 2021. Our President has a duty to nominate the next justice immediately, and the Senate, which serves until January 1, 2021 has a duty to vote on that nominee immediately so a full compliment of 9 Supreme Court Justices can rule on this potentially contested Presidential election.
So we agree that Mitch was wrong to hold up Obama's SCOTUS nomination. Thank you.

That was a biggy but so is other issues. Different people voted for him for different reasons. One he is not a war hawk. He is a business man and was not a politician. He promised those who elected him the moon and Hillary wasn't electable for a mass majority in rural areas of the country. He also promised he would look out for the working class, the Christians who had been bashed for eight years in favor of moving Islam into to replace them moved out in mass to vote for him and the majority of Christians do not go for killing babies in the womb, he promised people sick of seeing their children destroyed by vaccines help to fend off big pharma and that is to be seen; He doesn't bash the country the vast majority of us all love and do not want to see 'fundamentally changed'; at no time did he say or allude that the people who worked damn hard to build their own homes, communities and businesses, "You didn't build that".

Barrrack Obama didn't tell people who built their homes and communities "You didn't build that". He told business owners who rely on schools for an educated workforce, and utilities to operate their businesses, and roads and railways to take their goods to market, and who use the courts to protect their patents and trade marks, that "You didn't build that" infrastructure which helps you make and keep money.

Trump is the worst failure of a businessman in American history. Nobody has had more business bankruptcies and nobody has ever lost $1 billion over a 10 year period. his 3000+ law suits are also a record for an American business man. Anyone who knows anything about business would never vote for Trump because of his business cred. No one.

McConnell also had the right to block the nomination until after the 2016 election
No, McConnell had the power to block the nomination. The Constitution didn't give him the right to do it.

Did the Constitution mandate that Mitch McConnell bring Duhbummer's nominee to a vote?

The answer rhymes with "phuck no."

It didn't.

Oh, I wouldn't say we agree at all. I prefer to compare apples to apples, as opposed to your wanting to compare apples to your sour grapes. (Yes Donald J Trump won, get over it) In 2016, as Senate Majority leader Mr McConnell had every right, and was right, to hold up a nomination from the President who was of the opposite party as has been done repeatedly throughout our long history. In 2016, we were 9 months out from an election that wasn't even remotely as contentious, and the vitriol wasn't nearly as potent. There was little to no belief that the election might need to be decided by the Supreme Court, because the Democrats and overly confident See you next Tuesday Clinton thought the win was in the bag. Additionally, Obama was truly a lame duck President serving his last term, not possibly to be re-elected. Many, many times in our history a supreme court justive has been nominated in an election year, provided the Presidency AND the Senate Majority are of the same party. To bad your sour grapes aren't lemons. If they were, you could add some sugar and make lemonade.
