Our system to address crime is one of the things badly broke. Now maybe you werent suggesting not enacting a complete overhaul but I'm just noting.

Absolutely a complete overhaul of everything. When I say reset, I mean eliminate all federal laws, rules & regs & start over.

Lobbyists-gone with sealed indictments RTG if they pop up again
IRS-gone
CIA-gone
EPA-gone
DOE-gone
DOJ- reset? see FBI
DOD-reset
FBI-? Probably gone because I don't think anyone is capable of draining that honey bucket
Courts & laws- all based & clearly sourced to Constitutional authority only

It would be chaos for a while but not so much worse than we already have. Plus, once we set it straight again, everybody but the puppet masters would be in better shape

The problem is few if any have given any real thought to what they would replace the system with if they did burn it down. More times than not what replaces the tossed away system winds being worse than the system it's replacing.

Rather, people could be willing to address the failures but sadly they are not.
