Weiner's scandal certainly drew the most attention this year. David Wu's alleged acts were probably more serious, though. All in all, it was not a particularly big year for sex scandals, at least in the US. My vote for the most serious would be Italy's Silvio Berlusconi and his "bunga bunga" parties.
