1.There is the plague, the black death, that decimated millions due to a tiny little bacterium.

“At first, the bacteria that became the plague lived quietly in the mammalian gut, and known as Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. Small and innocuous, it could survive in a host causing little more than a stomachache.” Wm. Rosen

2. In his novel, “Mission Critical,” Mark Greaney has the villain prepare to flood the UK with the plague, and she says….

“As you know, with primary infection, the patient’s course becomes irreversible approximately eight hours after infection if not given a large dose of antibiotics….Secondary pneumonic plague results from metastatic spreading by the primary population.

…if we successfully mask our attack so that the primaries remain unaware they’ve been exposed to the bacteria, allowing them to return to their offices…it will delay treatment for those who pick it up secondarily. If we manage this, we can expect roughly forty to sixty percent mortality…”

3. But the biological plague isn’t the only sort that starts small, barely noticeable at first. Western Civilization is under attack yet again, by a plague. A political plague.

“The radicals of the sixties did not remain within the universities…They realized that the apocalypse never materialized. “…they were dropping off into environmentalism and consumerism and fatalism…I watched many of my old comrades apply to graduate school in universities they had failed to burn down, so they could get advanced degrees and spread the ideas that had been discredited in the streets under an academic cover.”
Collier and Horowitz, “Destructive Generation: Second Thoughts About The Sixties,” p. 294-295.

4. Nor is it the only plague that metastasizes….

“[The radicals] did not go away or change their minds; the New Left shattered into a multitude of single-issue groups. We now have, to name a few, radical feminists, black extremists, animal rights groups, radical environmentalists, activist homosexual organizations, multiculturalists, organizations such as People for the American Way, the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL), the National Organization for Women (NOW), and Planned Parenthood.”
Robert H. Bork, “Slouching Toward Gomorrah,” p. 53

And...the epicenter of infection:

5. "Teachers unions pushing leftwing environmentalism in the classroom
In a piece titled “Climate Change in the Classroom,” the AFT says we face challenges “from attacks on democracy to a warming planet.” And this has “moved the role of the English teacher to center stage.”

As English teachers, we have the ability and responsibility to excite, inspire, and empower students to recognize this potential and become involved in the issue of our age, climate change and environmental justice.”

The article from the AFT goes on to outline how teachers can bring leftwing environmentalism propaganda into the classroom: “Many states have adopted the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English language arts,” which no longer dictate content that teachers must provide. Because there is no specific reading requirements, teachers can decide classroom content and “climate change can provide this kind of content.”

...a series of pieces that attempts to push the left’s version of environmentalism in the classrooms."

6. Which is more deadly, the Black Plague, or the Leftist Political Plague?

“The Black Death is estimated to have killed 30% to 60% of Europe's population. In total, the plague may have reduced the world population from an estimated 475 million to 350–375 million in the 14th century. It took 200 years for the world population to recover to its previous level.”
Black Death - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Black_Death

And then, there is Marx and Engel’s contribution to the death toll

“100 Years of Communism—and 100 Million Dead
The Bolshevik plague that began in Russia was the greatest catastrophe in human history.

If we add to this list the deaths caused by communist regimes that the Soviet Union created and supported—including those in Eastern Europe, China, Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia—the total number of victims is closer to 100 million. That makes communism the greatest catastrophe in human history.”
100 Years of Communism—and 100 Million Dead

Think you know who the ‘winner’ is?

Not yet….

You've anticipated my fourth post in this thread.

7. The totals for Communism don’t include these: about 17 to 20 million more due to Stalin’s ‘cousin’ Adolph…..
Documenting Numbers of Victims of the Holocaust and Nazi Persecution

8. Both Communism and Nazis grew from the same seed. Because government school leans Bolshevik, it attempts to paint Nazism and Communism as separate and distinct, with the former far worse…..nothing could be further from the truth.

Communism, by every metric, is the worse.

.…as Martin Amis put it, 'Bolshevism was exportable and produced near-identical results elsewhere. Nazism could not be duplicated. Compared to it, the other fascist states were simply amateurish' (“Koba The Dread,” Amis, 2002, p. 91).

This makes communism more dangerous than Nazism.
Nazism was based on blood and nationalism, so, could not be duplicated in nations like America, which is made up of so very many nations.

Of course, the Left's (read 'communist's') control of our education system amplifies the damage.

You are the worst of the plagues! Promoting unabashedly republican propaganda.

(sigh....)
If only government school could at least prepare the sheep to posit some idea beyond "I hate you!! I hate you!!!"....then we might just see some interesting posts from these morons....

....I I might have some fun beyond simply rolling my eyes when they post this vapid sort of post.

You dunce....you should consider me the Cinderella Good Witch.....baptizing you with knowledge, and education.

Instead, you inadvertently prove all of my posts by being unable to refute any of it.

Wise up, fool.

Science teachers teaching science? How dare they!! Don't they know that ideology must rule over science? Haven't we learned anything from Lysenko?

It's not science, it is the result of your sort occupying the school system.

Wait....aren't you the one who bragged about being a government school grad, and never having read a book?

Carry on.

Sorry but I don't consider you a judge of what is science and what is imagination/wishful thinking/ideology.

I know you feel I should be ashamed of attending public schools but I'm not, sorry. You're so proud of the schools you've attended you refuse to identify them. I have read books, in fact I gave you a list, I just don't anymore, I've gone digital.

That's your third strike.

Your first two:

You know what three strikes means, don't you?

9. And both Communism and Nazism grew from the fertile minds of Hegel and Marx.

Need proof?

Sure....

A year after Lenin's death, 1924, the NYTimes published a small article about a newly established party in Germany, the National Socialist Labor Party, which "...persists in believing that Lenin and Hitler can be compared or contrasted...Dr. Goebell's....assertion that Lenin was the greatest man second only to Hitler....and that the difference between communism and the Hitler faith was very slight...." November 27, 1925

a. "Hitler often stated that he learned much from reading Marx, and the whole of National Socialism is doctrinally based on Marxism."
George Watson, Historian, Cambridge.

b. "Socialists in Germany were national socialists, communists were international socialists." Vladimir Bukovsky.

And current Liberals/Democrats fit right in.

10.Six varieties of the Leftist plague:

Communism, Nazism, Socialism, Progressivism, Liberalism, Fascism.

All the collectivist, anti-individualist, anti-liberty and freedom political plagues.

And Dr Goebbels would never lie.

You really don't care where you get your sources so long as they buttress your point. If you're looking for a plague check your sources first.

Yet neo-Naziis and facists in the US are drawn to the GOP. I wonder why that is?

know you feel I should be ashamed of attending public schools but I'm not, sorry.

My daughter teaches at a Public University. When told that she was responsible for teaching and pushing all these left wing radical ideals on her students she replied " I just wish I could teach them to do their fucking homework regularly....."
