Maybe happened. It's claimed to have happened but we can never know because they can't release any evidence.

The coincidences of timing are all just a bit odd.

But if it happened, the kid is scarred already. Do you want to give her the guilt of killing a baby on top of it? If she's able to carry it, carry it. If she's not, then it is life of the mother.
