Maine is a beautiful state. We went up there a lot as a kid. I never realize how many sinister people truly live there. When hearing about Platner's scandals, the fact he's a Nazi sympathizer and a womanizer and serial cheater on his wife, his support actually increases five points. I think you'll find that most of Maine doesn't support him, it's just the idiots in the big cities. I'm sure he has rural supporters too, but most the people I know in the area of Maine I live in hate his guts.
