So, my wife takes our youngest out to the bus stop every morning, but the schedule is very irregular. The bus can arrive up to 20-30 minutes early or late on any given day. She has gotten together with the other moms to help each other out in many ways. They all keep an eye out to see if the school bus is running early or late and alert each other via group text when it looks like the bus is off schedule one way or another. Otherwise it's a giant pain in the ass for everyone left driving each individual kid to school. Teamwork.

Might be worthwhile to have a POLITE discussion with the driver, or perhaps with his supervisor. Whoever is responsible for the bus's schedule. Not sure if it would help, but it probably won't hurt.

With some insider info or luck you may be able to monitor your bus's video transmission same as the school does.

I drive a bus for Seniors (most younger than I), and know many reasons why bus schedules might be "off," but I would definitely look into that kids' bus. That shouldn't be. Whatever is causing the schedule irregularities should be addressed.

This is the C team in schools now. Right? Mostly the A and B teams are being run off, from bus drivers to lunch workers to aides and paras to teachers and admin.

Wait til they run the C team off and we're left with the D team
