Seriously, I have to keep asking, why do we not see these fear screeds about Mitt Romney from our resident liberals?

Perhaps because Mitt could actually pull some moderate Dem votes and win. Perry cannot.

Rick Perry certainly can attract liberals if they're unemployed, have a friend who is unemployed, has an adult in the family who is unemployed, has a student who couldn't find a job last summer, or is any of the above.

If he wins the Republican primary, Perry can attract conservative Democrats, blue-dog Democrats, and Democrats who view Obama's "it's Bush's fault" for the 999th time as no longer true any more.

Perry has stated a willingness to work with conservatives, a willingness to use initiatives and not a SWAT team to get businesses to create new jobs for Americans and spread some of Texas' good fortune in the job market with all 50 states which have or are willing to develop competitive jobs for the American people.

I think Perry can encourage businesses to allow more people to bring home the bacon through jobs in the private sector far and away better than the current Democrats.

The Democrats tied their own hands behind their backs. Having 100,000 reporters and union folks combing every word a Republican says and coming up with a "Eureka, this doesn't make sense to our socialistic views, so it must be a lie," pukola, is a very ridiculous, sophomoric ploy that is bound to blow up in their own faces.

In the meantime, Texas Governor Rick Perry is out there getting acquainted with American people, and if he is given half a chance, a lot of the unemployed ones will trade in their resumes for a real job when he is elected POTUS.

And that's what I think.

It always cracks me up when the left trots out the term "neocon" and use it in a way that clearly demonstrates they don't have a fucking clue what the word means. A neocon could easily either support or oppose NAFTA. An international trade agreement has nothing to do with a neocon's ideology. To you, neocon just means you don't like them. I'm a libertarian, I suppose that makes me a neocon too, right moronocon?
