I've always wondered the why most right wingers deride the federal government, while doing everything possible to be at the helm of such a government.

They seem to simply love capitalism while neglecting that such capitalism could not flourish and even survive without the democratic (and, YES, socialistic) precepts that workers are just as valuable as corporations.

It is the same reason why Obama and other communist hate the rich but don't mind being rich themselves. Prepare to suck dick!

The idea that workers have value is not socialist.

because we don't trust you idiots with the power, and our mistrust has been proven again and again.

Letting progressives have control of more and more government power is like handing an MLRS launch controller to a toddler.

How did you suffer eight years of Bill Clinton? How did the nation suffer 8 years of Bush? Let's start with the crash of '08 and two failed wars....
Now tell us how Obama has taken your guns away and turned America into a military state, as we were warned. Where's the Sharia law? Burkhas? His "brotherhood"? He's really running out of time for this.

Cruz now talking about carpeting bombing..."We're going to light all of their stuff on fire."
Just heard him say that.
Is that what you righties want for this country?

(Poor Ted, he doesn't care about all the kids that will be killed in his death march ...That's because they've been born already.)

It is a concern, along with his religious views. Chickenhawks piss me off and Cruz is doing everything he can to show me how much of a flawed candidate he is.

The idea that conservatives don't value workers is a LIE invented by lowlife scum filth liberals.

Clinton looks like a feverish right winger compared to today's crop of progressive asshats.

And your argumentum ad abusrdum is a typical lazy progressive tactic, you dime store hack.

You have a very selective view of history......On the whole, America's DARKEST periods have occurred during times when right wing or neocon leaderships ran the country.

The last time the GOP controlled the White House and Congress at the same time, they created a massive new cabinet-level department with totalitarian police powers, the third largest government department in the entire history of the Universe.

They also boosted through the roof not just the world's largest government employer on the planet, but the world's largest employer, period. The DoD.

They also created a trillion dollar government medical entitlement program without paying for it.

So let's talk about toddlers with rocket launchers some more, shall we?

Just for a recent example......How many of the GOP candidates are FOR raising the minimum wage?
Further, how many right wing "leaders" are for strengthening unions?

Are you freaking shitting me? WWII ring a bell? Firebombing entire cities, Japanese internment camps, dropping atomic bombs? Vietnam? WTF lib.

In your view, and as usual it is a very selective view, seen through stupid colored progressive glasses.

Conservatives generally agree that the Federal government is taking over for personal responsibility. Rights, to them is the right to obtain something, not be given that same thing unless there is a good reason the citizen could not gain that object on his own.

Liberals on the other hand believe in everyone is equal and should never be in need regardless of their own disposition in life. If a person has a problem, he looks to the government to solve it for him.

Naturally the perfect solution would be to entwine the two, so society can meet the needs of the people only after it is shown they cannot solve their problems themselves. As a country, we need to be personally responsible for what we have, but the government should meet the needs of those who are physically or mentally unable to provide for themselves.

You equate mish mashing economics via the minimum wage as "helping workers", yet the only trend we are going to see is the replacement of said over-valued workers with machines, which makes their effective minimum wage zero.

and opposition to public sector unions is something even FDR was in favor of.

Hang on... Socialism at its core is about society solving problems rather than individuals. To say socialism doesn't work in America is to say America doesn't function well as a society... That is quite anti American statement.

I think putting people in charge of a society who doesn't think the society works and wants to weaken the society is fundamentally flawed. As it would mean American society would be weakened and thus America itself would be weakened.

Like the Ideal Gas Law, your perfect solution is flawed and cannot work in the real world, simply because everyone would vote themselves the goodies if they could (and they currently are).

If you're comparing the reasons for WWII to the series of other conflicts we've wasted lives and treasury, then you're another moronic right winger who chooses to "interpret" history.

The reason that you have always wondered this Gnat, is that you have always been stupid and never thought to take an introduction to economics course and find out how things actually work.
