Great Trump tactic. Dismiss the source (not saying that John Oliver is a news source, he just covers things brought up by other media) and ignore the point.

I don't know if you have actually watched / attended any Trump rallies, but if you have it is pretty easy to find them ridiculous. The guy brings up his wall in every rally like it is a major policy point. He spends half of his time complaining about his media coverage...even though he, by far, gets the best coverage out of any candidate. And he fills in the rest of his speeches by either pointing out people getting escorted out of his rallies or by jerking himself off by saying how much support he is getting. The guy avoids talking about anything of substance like the plague. It is impressive really.

Sadly this is true. Fortunately, Oliver mainly just covers up things here already addressed by other media sources. I don't think I actually heard any new information from him, just that he put it in a humorous fashion (seriously he covers wall cost, land rights, effectiveness, and Trump's xenophobia...have you really not heard about any of this anywhere else?)

I mean seriously, I was pretty damned convinced that the Republican party had the general in the bag this year. Now, however, I actually give Hillary a 50/50 chance to be the next president. It's a joke. A sad, morbid joke.

I mean seriously, I was pretty damned convinced that the Republican party had the general in the bag this year. Now, however, I actually give Hillary a 50/50 chance to be the next president. It's a joke. A sad, morbid joke.

My hope for the poor and middle class is starting to dwindle to the point that it is on "empty". With the robotic age coming upon us, I believe that the global elites are going to ratchet up their de-population agenda because they sure as hell are not going to allow half of the population to lay around consuming what they believe are their resources while squirting out another "useless eater". If we do not wake up and unite against this cabal of thieves, I believe that a great culling of the herd where they make "God like decisions" is on the horizon and I see this happening before the year 2025 if not before then. Personally (and for myself) I can't get off this prison planet soon enough but my heart is burdened for the ones with small children that have no decent future. I could give a 5 hour seminar on what has been going on and where we are heading and still only scratch the surface. I wish people would wake up and realize that they are being manipulated and controlled by a group of elitist thieves that believe that they have this divine right to rule. It does not have to be this way. You could fit every person and family on the planet in Australia and give them an acre of land to grow food and still have the rest of the world totally unpopulated.
