Pelosi totally plays Boehner

Three week funding bill gets handed to the House from the Senate, it would've been the bill for the Republicans to pass if they wanted any chance of stopping Obama's executive orders. Democrats had small incentives to vote yes on it too, but the higher ups (Pelosi) decide to vote no and watch the Repubs squirm as their own bill fails 203-224.

The Senate then passes a last minute bill to fund the dept for seven days and Pelosi simply tells the Democrats to vote yes and all but 8 of them do, meanwhile Boehner still can't even get to 217 votes.

What this spectacle showed was that without the Democrats, Boehner can't pass anything.
