1. It is the President's job to try to calm the situation and not create panic.
2. His statements were that he disagreed with the WHO numbers on mortality rates.......Reason...see item 1.
3. His "HUNCH" is proven with South Korea and much lower numbers because they lead the world on testing the viurs.

And, INSTEAD of taking that presidential moment, to instruct the audience listening, that 'This was not a GOOD IDEA, and even if they are feeling good enough to go to work with simply the sniffles or dry cough, it would be best and important, for them to stay home and quarantine themselves. And then explain that it spreads so easily from person to person, even from people who do not get really sick. Also, that this could pass it to another person who is in the vulnerable category, becoming a mortality statistic.... that THEY could end up KILLING someone else!'

Vile Sneaky Abortion Extremist Speaker Nancy Pelosi was trying to weasel in taxpayer funding for abortions in the emergency spending bill to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Pelosi lobbied for a mandate for up to $1 billion to reimburse laboratory claims. That mandate would have been a loophole in health spending without protections outlined in the Hyde Amendment.

The Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion with two exceptions – to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape. Pelosi was taking a page from the playbook of Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel once famously said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” San Fran Gran was trying to pull a fast one for one of her pet projects, as many abortions in this country as possible.

Pelosi took advantage of an emergency funding bill to push the Democrats’ pro-abortion agenda attempting to create a “slush fund” for abortion services.

“A new mandatory funding stream that does not have Hyde protections would be unprecedented,” one White House official explained. “Under the guise of protecting people, Speaker Pelosi is working to make sure taxpayer dollars are spent covering abortion — which is not only backwards, but goes against historical norms.”​

A second White House official referred to the provision as a “slush fund” and yet another questioned “what the Hyde Amendment and abortion have to do with protecting Americans from coronavirus?”

“While schools are closing and hospitals are gearing up, Speaker Pelosi is waging unnecessary culture wars. Speaker Pelosi should be fighting the coronavirus pandemic, not politicizing emergency funding by fighting against the bipartisan Hyde Amendment,” Sasse said. “We need to be ramping up our diagnostic testing, not waging culture wars at the behest of Planned Parenthood. Shutting down flights from China, when all other countries did not, while allowing all other flights from all these countries that did not stop the Chinese from coming to them, is not that reassuring...

Our first death was in January, a person died from pneumonia that was on one of those cruises, they went back and tested him post death from his blood samples, and he had COVID 19.

The media is covering this in every country in the world, even more heavily than the USA coverage.... you can't blame the media....

In May 2018 Trump eliminated the NSC Global Health Unit that deal with pandemic. Created by Obama. It’s similar to FEMA. Designed to handle in the event of pandemic. That includes proactive thinking, advanced warning and action. Fauci just said it could have been nice if that was in place not eliminated.


When it hit US Trump was scrambling started from scratch. So whatever you see right now how Trump is handling these crisis is not acceptable.

Trump's been so awesome, his prompt closure of travel from China is likely why our infection rates, 9.1/M are the world's lowest for nations with at least a 1,000 cases.

Other European nations didn't control travel like Trump did and Italy has 350/M; Norway 205/M; Switzerland 159/M; Denmark 144/M; Spain 137/M; Sweden 95/M; France 69/M; Belgium 59/M and so forth. Terrible infection rates, yet not a peep of disapproval about their national leaders out of you!

Really? Do you check anything before you puke it out all over the board? Trump curbed travel from China on Jan 30. On Feb 15, we had 15 cases. In a nation of over 331M that's "spreading like wildfire?"

In Feb he curbed travel from Iran. Iran has an infection rate of 152/M nearly 17 TIMES our infection rate, but you don't seem to have a bad word to say about the Ayatollahs that run that country. Curious!

The stats that include brand new cases that haven't had an outcome yet are misleadingly "cheerful" with a 3% fatality rate.

Italy's fatality rate for completed cases is 44% fatalities, and that's with a sample size of over 4,000.
