Patrick Bet-David goes one-on-one with economist Richard Wolff.

I was intrigued with the name ' Patrick bet david '
Turns out he is an Armenian by background---who
was born in Iran ----from which his family fled.
Bet David means-----at least as far as I know---
HOUSE OF DAVID. Patrick is an Irish catholic saint

any good arguments on behalf of socialism or capitalism?????

Marxist economist doesn't like capitalism.....film at 11.
Marxism provides a blueprint for how capitalism can work within a democracy
with or without its' inherent failures. Wolff is not about forcing economic equality through socialism, (redistribution of wealth) but more about creating a more level playing field to begin with, worker -run unions and co-ops etc...

Not redistribution of wealth, but fair distribution of the wealth to begin with.

Marxism failed with the force of the government behind it.....with gulags, how
is it going to work better under democracy?

Wolff is not about forcing economic equality through socialism,

That's a relief, because it can't be forced.

but more about creating a more level playing field to begin with

By, for instance, preventing rich parents from doing things that benefit their children?
Taxing inheritances at moronic levels?

worker -run unions and co-ops etc...

How'd United Airlines work when it was owned by their unions?
All the workers have an equal voice?

Marxism was hijacked by totalitarianism, much like many democracies have been. Ones the US propped up like Iraq and Libya for example.

worker -run unions and co-ops etc...

Anyone can cherry-pick examples of failure in any areas of life.

Marxism was hijacked by totalitarianism,

How would Marxism work without totalitarianism [relating to a system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state] forcing it?

Anyone can cherry-pick examples of failure in any areas of life.

Like "every single time Marxism was tried, it failed"?
You can't cherry-pick a time it worked, right? Weird.

You win.
Now let the kids watch the video and decide for themselves.
You know, like it's supposed to be in a 'democracy' like ours.

Capitalism never fails.
Out of sight out of mind ---well that used to be the case.

Whiney twats debate capitalism....All....The....Time.
Usually because they blame capitalism for their failure to succeed.
In my case watching a globalist shadow government squander $7 trillion
of American taxpayer's money , my money, in ME wars and things like that.
$26 trillion and spiraling up.

You're right, Marxist governments don't squander money, that's why they're more successful.
