Pat Robertson condemns Trump lack of love.

I've said for a long time that I didn't think Biden could win but I'm starting to hedge that. When you get Pat Robertson condemning Trump, something I never thought I'd see, well.....all bets are off.

Pat Robertson criticizes Trump's comment about governors looking like 'jerks': 'It isn't cool'

So, what name do you suppose Trump will call Pat?

Don't care. Pat is wrong. Trump is right. They are letting criminals and thugs ruin people's lives, and almost get people killed.

Trump is dead on right. The fundamental duty of government is to enforce the law, and these twits are useless.

Those who were kneeling peacefully were breaking no laws and Trump said they should be fired.

What laws was he enforcing?

I'm assuming you mean CK.

Did Trump fire anyone involved? No. So what law was he enforcing is a great question, given he didn't enforce any law at all.

Trump was making a different point in that context.

Here you have a guy who makes $126 Million, refusing to simply stand for the flag of the country that allows him to be a 1/4 Billionaire, for merely playing a game.

That is the height of spoiled brat ungratefulness. Why? Because he can't have respect for the country, that allows him to be in the top 1%, of the top 1% of the wealthy people on the face of the Earth?

Nothing irritates blue collar workers who put in real hard time making a living for themselves, and here this spoiled brat rich kid, making hundreds of millions, can't even show respect for the country, that is allowing him to live a life of luxury that 99% of the planet can't even dream about.

There is also a business element. He was harming the business. And there is no question that he did. Even CBS which has every ideological reason to lie, came to the conclusion that CK did in fact harm ratings.

There is no question about it. He damaged the league.

So to be blunt, he deserved to be fired, just as any of us would, if we damaged the business of our employers. If you ran a store, and you hired me to be an employee of your store, and I started using your store to make political statements that offended customers, you would fire me, and rightly so.

And you are liar if you deny that.

Trump was right.

It was a peaceful protest. Protest is NOT generally about you. It's about others. Millions of whites are protesting.

You either support peaceful protest or you don't and then don't say you do.

Right, he's trying to protest that American was evil and racists.... and he makes tens of million for playing each game..... when he was a marginal quarterback at best.

If the family of Floyd wants to protest, I get that.
That makes sense.

But if you are in the place of privilege and wealth that is un-imaginable to the rest of us "white privilege males".... with all due respect... SHUT... >UP<. Nothing is more irritating than a person living a life of playing games and endless luxury, that wants to protest the great wrongs... that THEY THEMSELVES HAVE NEVER FACED. Spare me. Just keep your mouth closed. I'm here with my "white privilege" $13/hour, and he's protesting how racists and unfair life is with his $100 Million to play a game?? Don't wanna hear it. Shoved it

Supporting peaceful protests, doesn't mean anywhere. You come to my house, and start protesting inside my house... I'm going to get my 9MM, and escort you to the door, and remove you by force if necessary.

You can protest elsewhere, not at my house, or my business.

Again, you can say you support peaceful protests, but if you ran a store, and I showed up and started "peacefully protesting" all your customers away so you go out of business.... you would have me removed. If I was an employee, you would have me fired.

And rightly so. Don't deny it. That makes you a liar, because you know if your paycheck was dependent on removing some protestors, you would have them removed. Don't even try to claim otherwise.

Peaceful protest isn't where everyone loves your protest. If everyone agreed with you there is no need to protest.

I do NOT have to agree for it to be a legitimate protest.

Yes, we can read between the lines. Many who say they support peaceful protest mean they support it as.long as it's done privately where they do not have to see it.

Doesn't matter if they agree with it or not.

You don't have the right to protest where ever you want. If the NFL decides their games are not political stages for protests, they have the right to fire employees that are damaging their business.

Just like if I go in your house, and start protesting in your home, you can have me removed.

Whether it is legitimate or not doesn't matter. If you make millions on millions, I don't care what you have to say about how 'unjust' life is for you. I don't care to hear from spoiled brat rich kids, whether you think it is legit or not.

The NFL didn't decide that so it's none of your business.

I didn't say it was. My point was, they can fire him, or bench him, for damaging their business with their peaceful protest.

Which they didn't so it's all moot. He wasn't the only one to kneel either.

Yeah, I think they all should have been fired.

Trump has a right to freedom of speech just like I do. So what you think is moot, doesn't matter to me or Trump.

That's how that works. Just like you don't care what I think they should do, I don't care that you think is or is not my business.

I can say my opinion, Trump can say his opinion, and you can say your opinion.

I agree with Trump. Nothing is more irritating than a spoiled brat rich kid, trying to protest how unfair life is, when he makes, what was a total of $250 Million over the course of his career of doing what? Was he finding a cure for cancer, saving refugees from sinking boats, helping Haitians rebuild their huts, fighting Ebola in Africa?

No he was playing a game. Fire that brat. What total worthless snot rag of a human.

My opinion. Don't care what you think.

And yeah they didn't fire him, although they should have. It is clear that his protesting harmed the NFL. I remember 2017, when for the first time since I have memory, during the family reunion on Thanksgiving, we didn't have football on the TV.

We have a family reunion every single year, and there was not one time in the prior 30 years, that we didn't have Football on the TV. Not that year. No one wanted to see it.

And NFL ratings have continue to slide. And they should. Football and sports in general is where you go to detach from the problems of the world, where you come together to cheer on your team, without division and political crap.

CK screwed that up. And the NFL refuse to protect their business, and just repercussions are being felt. If this keeps up, and ad revenue continues to slide, because ratings are falling, soon all those spoiled rich brats that want to protest the unfairness of their ridiculous lavish lifestyles... will start to see their salaries decline.

And honestly, divine justice in my book. The few areas black people can earn an unbelievable amount of money, will be destroyed by their own protests. Serves them right.

Trump can have any opinion he wants but he is plainly full of crap when he says he supports peaceful protest when he called for those doing that to be fired.

Again, they should have been fired. Wrong time, and wrong place. He was right.

You have your opinion, I have mine, and I agree with Trump.

You are just full of crap.

There is no "right time". That's not how it works.

Sure there is. I can think of many protests that I thought were fine, even if I disagreed with what they were protesting for.

Prefect example, the OWS. Obviously I disagree with everything that OWS stands for, and I thought their goals were crap, reasons were stupid, and thought they should have gone and gotten a job, and started carrying the water instead of only drinking it.

However, when they first started out, there plan of protesting in the park, was fine with me. Everyone could see what they were screaming, they were getting their idiotic message out, everything was fine.

Same with tea party. They held protests in the park, made their voices heard that they hated giving out bailouts.

Perfectly fine place and time.

Many examples like that.

Now OWS got off the rails later on, when they started taking over private property, and smashing windows.... like all scum sucking left-wingers do.... You didn't see that happen at the tea party protests.

But I was totally fine with all of those.

So, yes there is a proper place and time to protest.

Again, if you ran a store, and was your employee, and I started protesting against government run health care in your store, causing customers to leave..... you would conclude that this was not the place and time to hold a protest.

It's easy for you to say "that's not how it works" when it doesn't effect you. If it did, you wouldn't be saying that.

You continue to think it's important whether or not you support where one protests. It is not.

Yes it is. Sorry, you are wrong. When you go about things in bad ways, you make yourself disgusting to the public. Hence, NFL ratings have been declining heavily since the CK protests.

You have the right to be wrong, but you are wrong.

No they haven't.

The 2020 Super Bowl was the 11th highest rated television event in history. This despite people having more and more choices all the time.

I wish black people would stop talking about kaepernick it's fucking retarded

the worst possible example and i hear it constantly in sports media.

any other protest would be better.

Who gets to protest at their job? No one

Stop it everyone. Fuck kaepernick

Who gets to protest at their job? Unionized workers when they go on strike. They stand outside the gates of their company and have signs telling everyone why they are on strike, and usually it's to protest what management is doing to the workers. You aren't too bright, are you?

You are right.

"If the conversation around football is primarily about the game, then we're probably winning," says Michael Mulvihill, executive vp and head of strategy and analytics at Fox Sports, which has the Super Bowl this season. "And if the conversation is about topics away from the game, we're probably losing. I think the focus for the past season and a half has become more where we'd like it to be, which is just on the games."

I love this.....

Kaepernick recently settled his collusion case against the NFL. His talks with both the XFL and AAF indicate he wants to play after a two-year absence. But unless he climbs way down from his contract demands of at least $20 million per season, the chances of him playing for either of the new spring football leagues are remote.

Yes, McMahon is a showman. But he's also a businessman. His new eight-team league is looking to pay starting quarterbacks $250,000 a season, sources said.

Good luck sonny.... $20 Million a season when you were just removed from the NFL.

Watch out when the crazy anarchists on the left start quoting an aging T.V. Evangelist. Robertson didn't "condemn" the President, he injected a mild criticism into the volatile political situation. The 90 year old soft spoken (retired) T.V. evangelist is probably far more comfortable with a non-confrontational president like George Bush who used to cringe at media questions and pander to the left.
