Police do not allow Muslim protesters on the Temple Mount
to disparage photos of Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince
With various response from the Arab community in Israel...
"The Chief Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Authority, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, issued a ruling stating that UAE citizens are not allowed to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, following the agreement between Israel and the UAE"
With various response from the Arab community in Israel...
and:
"Muslims scatter glass (pay attention to the distances) on the walking path
of the Jews ascending the Temple Mountin order to injure the pilgrims who arrive barefoot."
(Comment)
In Arab society, it's the most fundamental principle, that if You're the owner You accommodate and protect those in Your vicinity as a demonstration of that ownership through hospitality.
So what are they showing here, their legitimacy, that it's truly theirs?
In one of the recent posts here there was a conversation between an Israeli and UAE blogger, who have developed personal relationship online having conversations about the region, and connecting as both fathers who's cons are currently serving in the army.
Anyway, one of the highest points of that conversation was when Thani told David,
that he is finally happy to welcome him in his home, and that he's gonna be there,
on the first plane to Israel to pray on the Temple Mount with David beside him.
Ishmael was really a king, Thani is noble, there's honor.
Palestinians are not noble, and many start openly questioning their 'Arab honor'.
