I am supportive of gay rights. I support their right to marry each other and I support their right to be who they are, however, this growing push by the political left to ban the use of gender specific pronouns because they might offend a man who thinks he's a woman or woman who thinks she is a man is fucking retarded.

This is from the Daily Mail which is unreliable. It is fake news. Notice how the sensational item is based on what it claims is "a leaflet from Oxford’s students’ union told people to use gender neutral pronouns like ‘ze’ instead of ‘he’ or ‘she’ to avoid causing offence." But in the next sentence it admits there is no such leaflet: "The Union has since denied ever issuing this advice, saying it would be 'totally counterproductive'."

Your link actually says they advised that gender-specific titles be neutered. As in "Chair" instead of "Chairman" which is a trend already underway since businesswoman and chairperson and Congressperson are unwieldy. Major League Baseball is still running "businesspersons' special" day games, which always sounds awkward.

The pronoun thing, it also says, originated in the student union, who subsequently denied that origin, and sounds more like satire.
