I think they're being forced to adhere to Sharia Law by their government.

Significant numbers of Muslim converts to Christianity in Iran are estimated to range from 300,000 to 500,000 by various sources. Other estimates put the numbers between 800,000 and 3 million.

Not only in Iran, Muslims have been coming to Christ in other M.E nations as well, including those where Christianity and missions work is illegal.

Many of them have come to Christ through dreams / encounters with Jesus in their sleep. God can get around those anti-christian laws no problem.
