Do you guys know if Colorado, Oregon, or Washington have any type of welfare program for which low-income legal immigrants of any age qualify? Something like California's Medi-Cal.
My parents got their green cards after a long long time, 11 years to be precise, and now they are almost 70 years old and they can't work. We can't also afford paying for any other type of insurance at the moment. California is too expensive for them and we have family and friends in Colorado, Oregon, or Washington so we have decided it is best for them to move somewhere other than California. The only problem is the insurance.
