I swapped my face with both the black and the white guy with a phone app. I do not know if you recognise me to be both the black and the white guy?

I have a few questions. What is Othello about? Othello is the black guy right? Is he suppossed to be a "Moor" or "Saracene"? Who is the white girl? Who is the white man who challenges him? Is it about race mixing? Love? Revenge?

I saw only the trailer, never watched the movie nor read the book.

So why not read the play? Shakespeare is interesting as a writer, one of those whom along with Chaucer helped develop the English language. I would avoid modern movie and stage versions, as they tend to be ruined by Woke cretins.

Lots of ways to start . Here is one of many .
Good luck .
Effort is required but that is for you to provide if you so choose .Well worth it , imho .
