O'Reilly Factor story on South Carolina...

While I was watching the O Factor to see what stupid stuff Bill would say this time, I saw the story about how Cristians in the state of S. Carolina want to secede (sp?) aka not be part of the U.S anymore. This could possibly be the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Anybody else see this story?

What happens to the people who weren't in favor of it (if it passes) and still live in so Carolina and it's no longer a part of the U.S.?

Well, I feel it is unnessary, but if they can pull it off, then so be it. I am a Christian, but I won't be moving there if it passes.

I watch The O'Rielly factor as well, and I find what he's say's to be mainly intelligent, well informed, balanced and insightful. You thinking otherwise exposes you as a extreme liberal, since O'Rielly is a centerist.

The sucession is symbolic. To make a point. But myself, I hope it gathers more momentum than they expect, and it wakes people up to the perverted Godless direction liberals and their lap dog, the ACLU are dragging this country.

ok, let's take the BET story he did, two days ago.

he said all BET shows is "soft-core Porn" (meaning music videos)
obviously, not true, he refused to listen to the BET representitive when he mentioned all the other programming they have.

2ndly, he said from 9am to 6.25 on saturday all they showed were videos that were basically "soft core porn", um, yeah he couldn't be more wrong, check out tv guide.com top see BET's schedule of shows for saturday.

that's just one example.

bw, i don't hate bill, i agree with him on some stuff, i just feel he is biased. and not the fair and balanced person he says he is.

IMHO - the way to effect change is to work throught the system, elect officials sympathetic to your views and get involved in the process.

What will happen if SC does seceed? Well, unless they close their borders and install a total theocracy (which the proponents state is not their goal), the democratic process will always be at odds with their purported purpose of secession.

I watched that interview. I've also watched BET a time or two while channel surfing. I can't recall a time when I hit that channel that there wasn't either a black comic with a FILTHY mouth, or some music video playing rap with women shaking their "baby got back" in the camera. And yes, I would ALS0 consider that "SOFT PORN". They come as legally close to showing genitals as possible being gyrated and shook in camera close ups. How much closer to porn do you need than that?

I have NEVER seen ANYTHING educational on BET. And that was Bill's point.

OK. Let me rephrase it.

"Liberals EXCEPT perversions as normal".

Those observations are based of facts DK. There's nothing biased about it.

tell me, what kid is going to stay at home all saturday watching BET? I seem to recall kids going outside with friends and playing sports, going to movies or even using the internet. I highly doubt children stay at home on the weekends just to watch BET.
